The Alchemist says: „I found Elmi while checking on one of my properties in the area and asked him for a quote. From the first interaction he was professional, responsive, and had a "we can get it done!" attitude. That said, I got a few quotes (4 others to be exact) and ended up going with Super Roofing Pros over 3 less expensive quotes. Now, I have no qualms about the work and quality of work, punctuality, and everything else seemed to be on point. On the contrary, however, my experience with cost and affordability was overshadowed by a relatively whopping increase as they noted once they were on the roof they noticed there was more repair necessary than was initially assessed. That said, I would have set them above at least 8 other roofing contractors that I have worked with(I am also a realtor and subcontract flips, extensive renos, new builds, etc.) and the moment they came to me advising there was going to be a significant increase in cost AFTER the job had already started, the choice for me to opt for one of the more economical options had been removed and I would have been in a predicament considering the shingles had already been removed from the decking by the time I was informed. That said, it is a very uncomfortable position to be in...and left me feeling forced to pay over $2500 more than what was originally quoted and to that I would say to anyone beware. What is just a few coins to the person ACCEPTING may be more that what a client has to allocate or can even handle for that matter. Thank God, I COULD but what if I couldn't? Atop of $10k+ another going on $3000 is a huge difference. On another day, this 5 star would certainly be closer to 3 for that reason. However, as I noted, once I understood I had no other option I was made aware additional decking was on the way and they would be charging me for the boards. The job was completed the same day. The crew worked tirelessly and did a great job on the roof itself. I would recommend and work with Elmi on other projects as he noted he was initially ill-informed but I would do so with a clear contingency understanding how this played out. Overall I am happy with the companies work. They went back to clean after themselves. They were flexible with making necessary arrangements and our company wishes them nothing but the best and more success...“ Show more
