They said they would take the solar panels (all 40) off in a day, Tear off the old roof and put the new roof on the next day and put the solar panels back the following day. "Bobby & Luke (great guys and sales reps) came over for a sales presentation for windows today and were very patient and succinct. Bobby was extremely knowledgeable and confident about the product. I am very impressed with the windows and received a very good quote from them. However, I suspected that I would not be able to fit this project into my 2025 budget and that was confirmed. I communicated that to Connor (cool guy and a natural at canvassing) who knocked on my door yesterday and set up the appointment that this might be the case. I was told that I can at least understand their company, product, methodologies, and pricing so I agreed. I did in fact learn a ton and found my time well spent. "This has been a while coming but only because I did not write a review until we got a few rain storms since this is a review of a roof replacement. Back in January of last year I called a few different roofer for a quote for a replacement roof because my insurance company was going to cancel my house insurance if I did not replace my roof. Well, even though it was 5 in the afternoon. Kyle Hanley offered to come out to my house and talk to me about my roof and how they could help me. Now, because I had solar panels on my roof it was a problem that most companies did not want anything to do with helping me. Now Kyle sat here in my house and we talked for hours about what had to be done in order to get me a new roof. Since he was in my house and he could see my ceiling he told me that the solar panels were starting to affect my roof. Which I knew because I was already in touch with the solar company about my ceiling. He gave me 2 prices one for them to remove the panels and replace them after doing the roof. But I had to get permission from the solar company, The other was just for the roof if the solar company took off the panels. Solar company would not give them permission to take the panels off. I fought with them about it and told them that my ceiling was getting really bad with water stains. Finally, after the adjuster came, he right away said that it was the panels that were causing the leaks and yes it was their fault. That was in April and I kept getting messages from the man that was handling my claim. I talked to him about what his company would do for me and it just seemed that it was going nowhere quickly. So I decided to try to make a deal with the solar company. Since my roof was 17 years old I would be willing to pay for the roof if they would remove and replace the panels at no cost to me. Because they wanted to charge me over five thousand to do so. When it was their fault for telling me my roof was in great shape. The panels were only on my roof for 2 or 3 years. Grapevine pro did keep in touch with me and I told them what was happening with the solar company. Marc told me just let him know the date of the removal and he would put me on their calendar. It was 8 months of waiting for the removal date. Yet they were able to install a beautiful new roof in just day notice. They came here and within a few hours my old roof was off and the new one on and done. This company was so wonderful to work with when I had all these problems holding them up and were one of the few that helped me. They came and did the job. Cleaned up afterwards, they did not leave anything laying about. Even the dumpster was gone from my house the same day. I would like to thank all the people that I dealt with in this company. Each and everyone of them were very professional. I would call them again for another job. Wonderful company!"
