At Blue Nail, we have a full team dedicated to delivering the best experience that we can. We have rare industry certifications which allows us to offer warranties 6X longer than the market. We’ve worked on thousands of homes in NJ, installing some really cool exclusive projects for industry executives like the CEO of GAF, testing new products, and we even built the NJ JamesHardie showroom at ABC Supply. I personally serve on the advisory boards for GAF and JamesHardie which keeps us right at the cutting edge. We were also the first company to pilot the new solar shingles in NJ.

Blue Nail Exteriors handled a pretty involved project for us, replacing three poorly installed and leaking skylights along with the section of roof they were installed on, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

Kevin was professional the entire way through. He even had a Velux rep come out beforehand to confirm that the larger skylight size we wanted would work properly, which gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Communication was consistent throughout, and we always knew what was happening and when.

The install ended up hitting a few unexpected hiccups, but the Ray and the crew worked through everything without cutting corners and got the job done right. The finished result looks great, and the difference inside the house is huge. Our living room is no longer baking when the sun is out.

Really solid experience overall. Would absolutely recommend Blue Nail. Already talking to them about replacing the whole roof...

I hired Blue Nail to replace the windows and siding on my home.  I am incredibly happy with the finished product and highly recommend them for someone looking for an updated aesthetic for their home.  Their responsiveness to my countless calls and text message has been impressive, and the construction people, specifically Freddy were spectacular, working in unfavorable working conditions...always showing up and putting in a full days work, never complaining or putting in less than 100%. (masonry and new front door are not in yet, so pictures are only 85% accurate...

Blue Nail nailed my roofing project!!! Chris McKee and I have been in talks for over a year. I finally pulled the trigger to get our roof redone. Within a day or two after submitting my deposit… I was immediately put on the schedule for the following Monday. Project took a day and half to complete. Super pleased with how my roof came out. It gives me and my family peace of mind going into the winter months. Shout Out to Ray and his team for knocking out my roof so fast. After this very harsh winter, we observed so issues with our roof (ice dams) that we had not seen previously. We called a number of contractors to come help us understand what was happening, including Blue Nail. Kevin from Blue Nail came out and did a good inspection of our whole roof, including gutter guards that were installed by our home's previous owner over a decade ago.

We came to understand that it was primarily these very intrusive gutter guards that were causing the bilk of the issues, so much so that the guards and ice dams had significantly damaged our roof this past winter, along with the lack of attic ventilation on one side of our home. Kevin and Blue Nail laid out a few options that would resolve the ice dams, including addressing the lack of ventilation causing the ice dams.

We ultimately made the decision to address our whole roof, including ultimately having to replace about 30% of the plywood. All of this was handled with aplomb by the Blue Nail team. Fit and finish of the roof is excellent, and we feel much more confident about future winters after this work. Communication with Kevin was excellent, and work was completed in good time!
