"Our roof was a 10 year old shingle roof that was looking rough even though it wasn’t that old. After a pretty good storm, we reached out to Ideal Home Solutions for a free inspection. After a thorough inspection, their representative said he thought our roof had quite a bit of damage, and advised us to put a claim in. The same representative came to the house when the insurance inspector came, and walked them through everything they saw. It was great to have someone advocating on our behalf. Sure enough, the insurance company approved a roof replacement. We opted to upgrade to a standing seam metal roof, so that we hopefully don’t end up in the same situation 10 years from now. They did a phenomenal job, and the roof looks amazing. The owner Eric kept in close contact with us to make sure that we were happy throughout the process and with the final product. "In mid Sept 2025 I had a 23 year old roof removed and a new roof installed by Trimm roofing. I am very pleased with their work, which was both quality and efficient. Working with Todd Z. through administrative questions, getting information on materials, warranties, permits and timing went very smoothly and was quite impressive, especially since Trimm was competing with 2 more high quality local Sarasota roofing companies from whom I had requested proposals and quotes. Trimm's work crew were amazing and did a great job picking up debris. Dumpster Depot was contracted, set up properly and removed quickly after job completion. Trimm included in my contract a wind mitigation report by W. Larson that was very thorough. Trimm provided a gutter (seamless type) company that did a great job. My house looks much newer now! The project manager, John C., was very particular to check progress, work quality of the crew and inspected cleanup with additional magnet. "Resolute Roofing just completed the replacement of my 7,000 SF tile roof with a sand colored Novatik Roman stone-coated metal roof. They also replaced my skylights and repaired some plywood damage. We worked with Jonny Uzzel and he was great to work with. We had a dispute with our insurance company over storm damage, and he recommended an attorney who helped us with our claim. They had 16 workers on site to remove the tile quickly so we were not inconvenienced by the work. Workers were very professional and were careful not to damage any landscape, A/C units, or other exterior structures. A separate crew did the metal roof installation, and they were great to work with. As a building contractor who has not worked with metal roofs, I had a lot of questions on the installation. Jonny and the crew were very helpful in explaining how the installation was being done. I was not happy with the wind damage to my tile roof even though they were installed for a design wind speed of 160 mph. I am impressed with the metal roof installation and can see how it will stand up to the wind better than tile."
