Firehouse Roofing (Plano)

After a couple failed claims with the insurance company, a friend referred me to Firehouse Roofing. Eric and Zane promptly investigated our roof, helped me create a new claim with just the right wording, and met with the roof inspector a few days later. It seems that getting insurance approval is as random as the inspector they send because this particular inspector saw significant damage and not just from the latest storm so approved the replacement. Firehouse guided me through the repair process, material selections and options, detailed payment process, and project schedule. The roofing crew arrived on-time and worked tirelessly over two days to strip and re-roof our house doing a MUCH better job than the original builder. I opted for replacing our passive vents with fewer active solar-powered vents to eliminate the heat buildup we’ve had in our attic areas. Firehouse plugged old vent holes, installed more resilient color-matching vent boots and caps, and care was taken to ensure a completely water-tight installation (I’d previously had a few leaks). The crew was so professional, courteous, hard-working, and fast – and there was no corner-cutting on materials or nails used and no sloppy workmanship. As with any project, accidents can happen. A landscape tree and coach light were damaged during the project. However, job Project Manager, Diego, quickly assumed responsibility and assured it would be taken care of. As an identical light could not immediately be found, Firehouse will just deduct the cost for our chosen replacement from the final bill (same for the tree). BTW, dealing with Diego was a pleasure. He remained on site throughout the roof job, answered my many installation questions along the way and even hopped on the roof himself to make sure the job was done right (instead of disappearing to do other things like some other company’s PMs do). Another critique is that sweeping for nails and debris could have been a little better. I did manage to find a couple big handfuls of nails and screws with my own magnetic sweeping after the crews were gone. Within a day of the roof replacement, Firehouse called to schedule the gutter replacement. The guttering crew arrived – again on-time as promised. This crew was also amazing. Just three of them cranked out the fabrication and installation of a complete gutter system in about two and a half hours! But again, no cutting corners or shoddy installation, they were just experienced, fast, and proficient. In spite of the mentioned hiccups, I wholeheartedly recommend Firehouse and will GLADLY call them again if/when needed. Knowledgeable sales guys, working with our insurance company, detailed pricing with no later surprises, accurate and timely communication throughout the project, a dedicated PM on site who actually stays on site and monitors the job, talented and professional crews who show up when I was told they would, and a company that stands behind the quality of their work covering any damages that may occur. I can’t really ask for much more...

This was a load off of our minds because thunderstorms were predicted for the following day. The communication with the company was excellent. Alex and the staff at Firehouse Roofing were responsive, courteous, and kept us informed at every stage of the project. I appreciated their transparency regarding timelines, costs, and any potential challenges that might arise. The work itself was executed flawlessly. The Firehouse Roofing on-site supervisor assessed the attic prior to and after the roof installation. The roofing team was punctual, efficient, and displayed a remarkable level of professionalism. They worked diligently to ensure the project was completed on time, and the end result was nothing short of impressive. Firehouse Roofing just came to inspect our roof after the crazy storms. We knew that several tree limbs hit our roof, and we were worried that we had roof damage. Jeff Nutt quickly came to our house, and on time. We told him our concerns, and he went up to our roof to inspect for damage. The good news is that our roof was fine. The even better news, is that we know we know we can trust Firehouse because they are not going to try to sell us a roof when it’s not needed. Jeff was very professional, polite and took time to really listen to us. We know from an earlier experience with Firehouse, that they will repair a part of the roof, without insisting that the whole roof need to be replaced. We will always recommend Firehouse and will continue to use them in the future...

I needed someone to come out and assess my roof after the storms. They sent a service rep named Blake. I am 72, so have been around the block (a few times). He earned every one of those 5 stars with is professionalism, knowledge & positive mental attitude. As it turned out, I didnt need any work, but I am comfortable knowing that when and if I do, Firehouse Roofing will be who I call...
