When I talked with Harvey, he sounded like the most genuine person I have met in a long time. He, beyond thoroughly, discussed things I wanted to know. He is so knowledgeable and unquestionably cares about the jobs they do. I felt they would not cut corners and they didn't. Harvey began the project in a timely manner. They arrived early, worked until dark, and returned first thing the next morning. They completed the finishing touches and then Harvey came again that evening to re-magnet for nails again. He picked up tiny pieces of trash and went over the entire area again with the magnet, and then went over the drive-way area two more times. He sent the warranty information to me for the Class 4 shingles and sent me a paper for the insurance company for the discount on my home insurance. Harvey was also on site during the installation and he sent pictures to me of what they were doing. He made sure the structure of the roof was good and showed me where they needed to replace decking. I received a roof that is more solid than I had, and he did not cut corners, nor did he do un-necessary expense things. He showed the products to me and explained everything about them. They all looked very high quality - and beautiful! His bid was very reasonable and extremely fair. He gave me an easy and uncomplicated quote. He just did everything right. In any industry today where we have to hire someone to do an important job for us, and we have to trust them, and everything is complicated and stressful, it feels incredible to find a trustworthy person to hire. Harvey made the entire thing uncomplicated, extremely pleasant, and non-nerve-wracking. I did not experience fear as to how it would go. He did what he said he would. Details such as fully replacing flashing around skylights and a stone chimney were handled elegantly. The asphalt shingles themselves are beautiful - Don’s method for finishing the ridge lines is particularly lovely, providing stronger visual delineation. The gutter team makes it look easy. They helped us select a more suitable color. When installing the new gutters and downspouts, they made improvements that actually draw the water away from the house more efficiently and quickly.
