Austin Roofing & Construction did an excellent job replacing our
20 year-old roof after a Hail storm. Our house has a complicated roof on our two-Story house due the several levels of roof-lines. And, the roof replacement was valued well into five- figures ($). So we were interested in working with a larger roofing contractor with excellent customer service that had the expertise on multi-level roof lines as well as the staff to work with our insurance company.
It took a several weeks to negotiate a total roof replacement as well as several gutter sections replacements due to hail damage, with an upgrade to premium gutter screens. When negotiating the construction job we also needed a salesman that could “keep up” with our goals and objectives for our roof replacement. For example, in addition to installing new gutters, we replaced Hail – damaged window screens, and all of the downspouts. So, I was interested in working with a contractor that had the capability to perform these tasks seamlessly. To accomplish this, Austin Roofing & Construction Company has a working relationship with a major gutter installation company in Austin, this is important, because several contractors who bid our roof job required us to make separate arrangements for gutter and window work.
Besides the capability of the contractor, a key element in the success of the project was Austin Roofing and Construction Company’s people. As a business person who is comfortable negotiating detailed agreements, it is sometimes difficult finding business partners who have the staff to satisfy our numerous needs. For example, due to the sloping nature of our driveway and the new sod we installed last year as well as our in-ground sprinkler system, we requested that the material supplier not store materials in an unstable location such as our driveway which would block access to our garage or on the grass which may damage our lawn. So, our account executive, Billy Kerr, requested that the material supplier deliver the 140 packages of shingles ON THE ROOF! To accomplish this roof delivery, Billy Kerr requested that the shingles be delivered to the roof by crane for installation the next day. Throughout the process, Billy Kerr was always available to respond to our needs before and after the roof installation. Equally important to the construction process was seamless communication with Office Manager Tiffany Vaughn. My contact with the Tiffany and the business office was important in communicating details about project progress and completion to our insurance adjusters and insurance company as well as my many requests! In working with the team at Austin Roofing and Construction Company, I never felt rushed or that they “had something more important to do” than speak with me. Austin Roofing and Construction Company is a n excellent partner to work with to successfully complete a complicated construction project.
