It’s a long review, but wanted to be thoughtful of all the instrumental people and work that went into this professional experience. We went through three roofing companies for bids. The last bid happened when a young man from Prime Exteriors knocked on our door to ask about needing a new roof. He was kind, very genuine and respectful - not a high pressure salesman. I didn’t mind agreeing to follow up with the owner, Taylor Root, to learn about their company and get a quote. When we decided to go with Prime Exteriors the process went relatively smooth as they worked well with our schedule. First Dustin came and did a walk around the house to recommend to remove anything that might get damaged. The roofers were professional and respectful. There were at least 6 roofers who worked hard to do their jobs well, efficiently, and safely. Luis and Ed connected with us when they would first arrive and again when they were wrapping things up-explaining what was to be done and where they had left off. When the roofing was completed, the Site Coordinator, Antonio Delgado, came by to assess the work and to check to see if any issues needed to be taken care of. We walked around the home with him addressing some minor issues as he noted them down and assured us that they would all be taken care of to our satisfaction. These were mainly adjusting the flashing under a window, replacing and painting a piece of hardy wood that had minor damage, removing some preexisting wood rot on an eves board, and two damaged plants. Knowing that the busy roofing season is upon us, it did take a couple of weeks to get a scheduled time firmed up to have the workers come back and fix the issues - but they were very thorough, explaining their approach and showing us their work. Antonio would then follow up to ensure the work was completed to our satisfaction. Antonio continued to follow-up as each issue was resolved. When he came to do the final check, he brought us two beautiful replacements for the plants that were damaged. He took the time to ask and make sure the plants replaced were exactly the same. We really appreciated the time he took to listen and follow through with what was discussed and then ensure that we were satisfied. He gave me all the information I needed to make my decisions and more. Then came Randy, one of their project managers. Randy surveyed the project areas, took extensive notes, pictures and measurements and we discussed some challenges and how they would deal with them. Once drawings of my project were complete both Dan and Randy met with me again, we went over their drawings and further discussed the details of the project. I knew right then that these were the guys I wanted to do my work. Once the project began things went quickly. The afternoon prior to siding removal both a portable toilet and dumpster were delivered. When the crew (Nikolay and Dmitry) arrived they met with Randy to discuss the details of the project then went right to work. I was pretty amazed at the pace they worked. By the end of that day they had all the old siding torn off and had already begun installing parts of the siding system. During the next two days they worked diligently installing new board and baton as well as vertical cedar. When they were done I was absolutely thrilled with the quality of the work. I couldn’t be happier with the results. The next morning the portable toilet and dumpster were removed. A Cut Above Exteriors contacted me to schedule a final walk through with Randy. I had very little to complain about and a lot of praise. The one item I did mention was immediately remedied. If you’re in need of new siding or siding repair I cannot recommend A Cut Above Exteriors more highly. Honestly, you’d be a fool not to call them and at least give them a chance.
