I check these companies out by reading ALL customer reviews before deciding which local, small business company to call. After reading about many plumbing services, I called Haynes Plumbing Services for two reasons: they are a local company, and their reviews were positive overall. Plus, I drive by their office and see their trucks in my neighborhood. What do I like about this business? The office assistant was professional when I scheduled the appointment and offered choices for days and time slots. On our appointment day, we received a text and photo of the plumber. Then, the office assistant called us in the morning, notifying us that our plumber, TJ, maybe later than anticipated due to the first job. We appreciated the phone call. Our plumber arrived around the expected time. TJ was cordial, professional, and knowledgeable. My husband showed him the tasks and gave us the estimate (replacing the garbage disposal and installing a guest bathroom sink). Although the prices were high, we agreed to complete the jobs. TJ immediately went to work on the garbage disposal. We talked to him while he was working, and TJ respectfully answered all our questions or responded to our comments. His next task was the bathroom faucet; the old one was on a pedestal sink. Again, TJ went to work, and after several attempts, he gave us unfortunate news. He told us there would be an added cost because he could not remove the piping. He explained he needed to remove the sink to replace the faucet, so he would have to charge us extra. Much to my disappointment, the cost was very high, but TJ explained that he would position the sink so we would have access to the pipes in the future. We felt TJ was sensitive to the change from the original estimate and did not push it. He merely waited. We agreed, and TJ went to work. He finished the job, cleaned up any residual mess, and explained what he did. Even though replacing two pieces of plumbing equipment was EXPENSIVE, I will call Haynes again for my plumbing needs. It's the little things that take notes for me. However, I would have rated the service a 4.5 because of the cost, but the STARS represent whole numbers...“ Show more

We recently had a new system installed so I didnt anticipate any problems but wanted to prepare for the summer months and using the a/c. Rutilio was so thorough. He spent several hours testing the system because he found a problem. He continued going back and forth between the thermostats on each floor, the main unit and the outside unit. He then took the time to explain the problem to me, document clear suggestions to address the problem and mapped out recommebdations with pictures of the parts, a summary of their function, an explanation of why he's recommending each suggestion and included the cost of each. He didn't leave until he was certain of the problem and that I understood all aspects. The ME Flow pricing seems fair to me for service calls. He was professional, courteous and respectful the entire time he was inside our residence. I highly recommend Rutilio and ME Flow. For Plumbing, we had Ulises respond to our appointment, also his first time to our house. We had an old house water filtration system in our basement that we were concerned was rusting. It was connected to the water pipes so required a plumber to remove or alter in any way. Ulises examined the filter and discoloration and took the time to explain the cause of what I was seeing. He gave me options regarding installing the new house water filtration system I bought so I could decide which option fit our situation best. He offered several additional options going forward and was patient in answering my questions. Changing our water filter is complex due to its location and water pipe connections. Ulises took the time to educate me about the basic plumbing flows, system pressures to be aware of, and demonstrated all of the functions of the water filtration system, so I could learn how to do it more efficiently and easily the next time. Ulises was professional, respectful, courteous and willing to take the extra time to make sure I understood the process. I highly recommend Ulises and ME Flow...“ Show more
