Mountain Air Conditioning & Heating (Layton)

Mountain Air Conditioning & Heating are great! Somebody was able to come out and look at my old unit. They gave me two options that I could choose from. Once I decided, they ordered the AC/furnace and it arrived within a week due to it being shipped from out of state. The other company was quoting me the same and they were just going to clean and change some coils. Now I have a brand new AC/furnace unit. It’s nice knowing my tenant will be comfortable whether they need to use the AC or once it’s winter use the heat...

Our old HVAC equipment failed in the middle of Winter, because of course it did. The furnace was over 25 years old and the air conditioner wasn’t far behind it. We were prepared to replace everything, and Mountain Air made it pretty simple and easy to pick from a menu of options. We chose to go with a heat pump for our primary heating and cooling, with a gas backup for when it gets really cold. The installation took two days, and everything was replaced. They even ran new wiring for the thermostat because the old, 60s house wiring wasn’t to be trusted. All cables, hoses, pipes, and junctions were new and look great. Our house is now warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer, even at the same temperature settings on the Lennox thermostat. We can change things easily on a phone or the touchpad. We were also unsure about how the heat pump worked, and they came out to have a look and assure us about the defrosting cycle, and even topped up the refrigerant in the Spring. We’re happy that an Ogden company is now near us in Layton and that we’re supporting a small, local business. They’ll be our first call for yearly maintenance and other service...
