In the aftermath, I was certain I'd never find an actual roofer to come out and replace 4 shingles, when so many houses had major damage. The first 4 I called couldn't get here for days. First thing the next morning they were on the roof evaluating, and I was CERTAIN they were going to recommend a full roof replacement, which is more financially advantageous to them than replacing 4 shingles. To my surprise, Engelbert (who was super professional) said everything looked great except the hole, and that he'd get me a quote ASAP, and if they couldn't fix it before the coming weekend rain, they would definitely tarp the area to prevent further damage. The next day, the repair was complete, at a fair price. The company owner, Nicholas, kept me informed the entire time, and I know they are utterly swamped with other jobs, because they are headquartered in the city where all the damage took place. Days later, we are planning a full roof replacement after recorded hail damage from exactly 1 year ago discovered/demonstrated by Roofing Ranger.
