After our recent Hail storm; I met with 4 roofing contractors.  Melissa, with TrueWorks Roofing provided the best review and discussion of quality along with reputation, so we selected TrueWorks Roofing.   they provided courteous, and professional assistance throughout the entire process (including bids, product advantages, HOA appro v also, and insurance help).   They completed the work in the best manner as explained, they went above and beyond my expectations in repairs and clean up!!!   Communication was the best I have ever experienced with any contractor!   The owner. LAURA, Came to my home and met me before the installation.   Cannot, recommend more highy!    Thank you folks!!...

I highly recommend this roofing company for their quality of work, professionalism, and value.  Here is my story of working with them.

These guys are family owned and run a tight operation. Our roof sits on a ranch style house in Timbergrove. The roof was well past its useful life and was starting to actually rip off in places in the wind. A huge hole opened up in our roof 2 weeks before my first child was to be born!

When they came out for the quote Billy and the owner Lara installed a temporary patch for free! They were both very knowledgeable about roofs and had a great pitch. The price was very reasonable so we went with them. Before coming out, they obtained all the city permits for us and were proactive about scheduling.

On the day of install they wrapped the house with a tarp to catch and carry off all the old debris which was very nice. During the install they determined that the condition of our plank decking (a bunch of 1”x6”s) was not good enough to ensure a reliable leak proof base for the roof. Rather than push forward anyway they consulted me and determined that placing a new plywood deck on top of my existing planks for no additional charge was the best course of action (the plywood was substituted in for a thicker mat which was no longer needed). During the install they brought out a small army of men to get the job done in one day. The project manager Angel was outgoing and present the ensure instal. He spoke English which made communication easy and efficient. They replaced all our vents, exhausts, and repaired some significant damage to our eaves.

After the install they walked the house with me and did a great job of picking up all the nails which I highly appreciate with a dog and new child. They also sent documentation of the install to my insurance to get me a better price on my homeowners policy.

Very nice job.  My new roof is beautiful !   Roofers were careful with all of my gardens and ground decorations.  They worked so well together, each knowing their job.  They also cleaned up very well.  No nails left behind!  As for Melissa - wow - love her!  What a pleasure it was to work with her.  Very attentive to all the details of this many faceted job.  She would visit with us almost every day to make sure we were happy.  Not only have I recommended TrueWorks Roofing to my neighbors and friends, I also told them to request Melissa.  Professional, helpful, cheerful - always...

We initially requested a roof replacement quote from TrueWorks because they were on the approved installer list for Malarkey shingles. After meeting with them we were pleased with their responsiveness to questions and their emphasis on communication with the homeowner.

The quote was reasonable for the services being rendered and we were happy with the follow up communication prior to installation date. They also went above and beyond working with our HOA.

TrueWorks arrived and setup the house shield as scheduled. The new roof was scheduled to be installed in one day.

In the afternoon they asked me to look at the roof decking on the southeast side. Turns out the  decking had a couple noticeable waves caused by poor installation from when the attic & roof were replaced due to a lightning strike.

Instead of just shingling over, they asked if we wanted to fix it and quoted a very reasonable price. We agreed and they worked late to fix the decking. This did cause a delay in roof completion until the next morning, but we thought it worth it.

We are extremely happy with how the roof now looks. Our neighbor has not reported any loose nails. We’re sensitive to that as we found a couple (one in my wife’s car tire) when neighbor on other side last replaced their roof (using a different roofing company).

The quoted price was the same as what was charged. There weren’t any surprises. TrueWorks does their best not to damage landscaping adjacent to the house (note there may some damage especially to soft plants, but this unavoidable).

We are quite happy with the project process and results and would contract with them again in the future...
