"Don Bassett and his crews did an amazing job replacing our roof and gutters due to a hail damage claim. He’s been doing this kind of work for many years and understands what is needed by the insurance company to justify the materials and labor needed. Doing it right is more important to Don than doing it quickly. The crews have a fabulous work ethic and are just the nicest guys. They start early and work until it’s too dark to see anymore. Details such as fully replacing flashing around skylights and a stone chimney were handled elegantly. The asphalt shingles themselves are beautiful - Don’s method for finishing the ridge lines is particularly lovely, providing stronger visual delineation. The gutter team makes it look easy. They helped us select a more suitable color. When installing the new gutters and downspouts, they made improvements that actually draw the water away from the house more efficiently and quickly. The various drop downs between different roof planes was downright elegant. Details matter. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend Don and his team. We will be working with him again on future projects"

"We had our roof completely replaced by Bassett Roofing Conpany. Don Bassett and his team negotiated with our insurance company to replace everything based on the actual damage. The roof was replaced in September 2025 but we had his team come out in the summer of 2025 and they recommended us waiting until one more hail storm came up. We followed their recommendations and had no damage to the inside of our house plus there was a little more needed by the time of the next storm. So glad we waited and followed their professional recommendations. Very happy and would recommend this company to anyone needing roof work. Turns out they also do home remodeling and we will have them return for some other work needed."

"D. Bassett Roofing and Renovation is my go to contractor for all major projects. And has been since they replaced our roof/gutters in 2021, which is still in great condition! His crews are exceptional in their skills and abilities to take on any task needed throughout remodeling and renovation work. Recent 2025 completed projects include: 1) A cedar pergola with a tinted polycarbonate top. A solid structure with metal and concrete footings. Added electrical with outdoor ceiling fan/light. An amazing upgrade to our patio! 2) Remove popcorn ceiling, mud prep/texture and paint. 3) Interior paint of walls/6 panel doors and window sills. 4) Added LED flush mount lighting in living room, kitchen and dining room. 5) Remove and replace ceiling fans throughout two story townhouse. 6) Remove, replace and paint bifold closet door/track. 7) Cement leveling of flooring to prep for LVP installation. 8) LVP Flooring and new baseboards throughout downstairs. 9) Remove and replace tile/sub flooring in Jack and Jill Bathroom. 10) Expanded frame and added wider door with a custom trim for easier access to HVAC system. 11) And numerous extras throughout the project that needed attention. Don and his crew have been a godsend this year with renovations following a plumbing issue which caused water damage inside our home. I trust them to be in our home even when we’re unable to be there. I appreciate their knowledge, craftsmanship and patience with any of my questions or concerns."
