"Wow, what a great experience this company and team provided. I called them on Friday 11/21 for a leak found on roofing vents. 2 were bad and caused drywall ceiling damage in the garage. There were 3 others I had them replace for a total of 5 vent, ice/rain collars, flashing and shingles. Also had to cut out plywood on roof where wood was damaged/rotting. Shame on Drees Custom Homes as this home is only 6 years old. They also did all the drywall repair cutting out old, installing new, tape, mud, sand and plaster orange peel finish. Now the test of time to ensure that Morales Roofing repairs will last and I am sure it will with the professional materials and workmanship they provided. They did the roof repairs on Saturday 11/22 from Fridays call and estimate and finished the drywall the following Wednesday 11/26after another 2 inches of raid that proved that it was fixed. "Our city had a major wind event (90+ mph) and we lost a few shingles off our 30-year roof, which was 7 years old. In the aftermath, I was certain I'd never find an actual roofer to come out and replace 4 shingles, when so many houses had major damage. The first 4 I called couldn't get here for days. Then I found Stand Up Roofing on Facebook and gave them a call toward the end of the day. First thing the next morning they were on the roof evaluating, and I was CERTAIN they were going to recommend a full roof replacement, which is more financially advantageous to them than replacing 4 shingles. To my surprise, Engelbert (who was super professional) said everything looked great except the hole, and that he'd get me a quote ASAP, and if they couldn't fix it before the coming weekend rain, they would definitely tarp the area to prevent further damage. The next day, the repair was complete, at a fair price. The company owner, Nicholas, kept me informed the entire time, and I know they are utterly swamped with other jobs, because they are headquartered in the city where all the damage took place. I am VERY impressed by this company and will recommend them to anyone I know who needs a trustworthy roofer who'l doesn't compromise ethics for profit. He’s been doing this kind of work for many years and understands what is needed by the insurance company to justify the materials and labor needed. Doing it right is more important to Don than doing it quickly. The crews have a fabulous work ethic and are just the nicest guys. They start early and work until it’s too dark to see anymore. Details such as fully replacing flashing around skylights and a stone chimney were handled elegantly. The asphalt shingles themselves are beautiful - Don’s method for finishing the ridge lines is particularly lovely, providing stronger visual delineation. The gutter team makes it look easy. They helped us select a more suitable color. When installing the new gutters and downspouts, they made improvements that actually draw the water away from the house more efficiently and quickly. The roof was replaced in September 2025 but we had his team come out in the summer of 2025 and they recommended us waiting until one more hail storm came up. We followed their recommendations and had no damage to the inside of our house plus there was a little more needed by the time of the next storm.
