Pappa G says: „My visit with Baker Brothers technician, CODY HOYL, to inspect my existing 50 gal. gas (50 G), 40,000 BTU water heater just wrapped.
Cody was courteous and thorough during his inspection and confirmed information about the unit, that was mentioned yesterday from the plumber who installed its gas control four years ago.
Upon confirming the necessary next step with me; items that will need to be removed/ replaced; and the type of reconnection to be applied, Cody promptly confirmed a "next up" appointment today with his home office. He then explained that Baker Brothers will send one of their two-person crews to install a new 50 G unit, whose price covers parts, labor, city permit, AND a 12-year transferrable warranty.
I'm a new customer, who recently canceled a very positive 20+ year member-experience with American Home Shield due to increased monthly membership dues, and I am VERY pleased to have found that same degree of positive experience with Baker Brothers.
Both my family and I anxiously anticipate installation of a new 50 G unit so that our home can, once again, have heated water.

The Baker Brothers 2-technician team just completed installation of my new 50 G water heater. They were self sufficient and as courteous and professional as Cody, who stated, it would take them under one hour for the job. It was. Only thing they asked my assistance with was turning on both of the hot & cold faucets during removal of the old unit, then turning them off before turning on the hot water faucet in the master bath tub while water filled up the new unit.
After technician/plumber, “Caleb A.”, signed and dated the Emergency Shut Down Instructions’ sticker on the unit, he lit the gas pilot light; set the gas control knob to ‘A’ setting; and said to give it 45-60 minutes to heat up the water.
Only thing left is a visit from the city for inspection next week to tie a bow on this. Can’t wait...“ Show more
