We contacted Str8Forward Roofing for an estimate and had the pleasure of working with Hugo Cruz. Hugo was professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and extremely personable throughout the entire process.  He clearly takes pride in his work and represents his company exceptionally well.

Hugo and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. They carefully protected our landscaping, expertly installed the shingles and solar vents, and performed a meticulous cleanup afterward, including sweeping the yard and checking for any nails. We especially appreciated the photos and videos he provided throughout the roof installation process, which kept us informed every step of the way.

The company also coordinated the gutter installation, and the finished result is beautiful. The black gutters pair perfectly with the Class 3 gray shingles. The roof was completed in just one day, and the gutters were installed the following day.

We could not be happier with the outcome. Their workmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to honoring their word and contract agreement were truly impressive. We highly recommend Str8Forward Roofing and Hugo Cruz for anyone seeking quality roofing services....

I recently (July 2026) worked with Marco Santibanez and the team at Str8Forward Roofing for a full roof replacement on my home, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Navigating a major hail damage insurance claim can be incredibly stressful, but Marco stepped in and made the entire process completely seamless.

What really sets Marco apart is his absolute transparency and commitment to doing things the right way. He didn't just want to replace my roof; he wanted to genuinely fortify my home. He expertly guided me through the material options and helped me upgrade to premium Class 4 impact-resistant shingles (IKO Nordic) without nickel-and-diming me on the margins.

The installation crew was punctual, respectful of our property, and incredibly hard-working. The tear-off and installation were remarkably efficient, and their cleanup was thorough. Furthermore, Marco ensured that every detail was up to code, and we passed our city building inspection immediately and without a single issue- including all HVAC vent reconnections under the roof and attic.

I want to share my experience with Str8forward Roofing. For years, any time I filed a claim on my roof, my insurance company would only approve repairs instead of a full replacement. This left me with multiple claims on my record and a roof that clearly needed to be replaced—especially since nearly all my neighbors had recently gotten new roofs.

My agent referred me to Str8forward Roofing, and I reached out to Marco Santibanez. Even though he was on another job, he took my information and scheduled a consultation. When he arrived, he introduced himself respectfully and professionally—already a much better experience than I’d had with the previous company that only repaired my roof.

Because my home is two stories, Marco used a drone to capture detailed images. After reviewing everything, he explained that my roof definitely qualified for replacement. I was nervous about filing another claim since past claims had only resulted in repairs, but Marco was extremely knowledgeable and confident he could work with the insurance company. He also explained the appraisal process, so I knew what to expect.

I filed the claim, and as expected, the insurance company denied it, saying the damage was under my deductible. Thankfully, Marco had prepared me for this. Str8forward Roofing helped me move forward with an appraisal and provided documentation showing the true condition of my roof. At this point, my insurance company stopped returning my calls, but Str8forward stepped in and handled communication for me, keeping me updated every step of the way.

During this process, a storm hit and my roof began leaking so badly we had to mop water off the kitchen floor. I contacted Marco, and Str8forward sent someone out as soon as the storm cleared. They patched the vulnerable spots and even checked the attic for mold—something the previous company told me wasn’t necessary. Str8forward actually found mold, which didn’t surprise me given how many claims had been denied over the years. They provided photos of the damage so I could see exactly what was happening.

Marco had set clear expectations about the timeline, so the process never felt dragged out. Eventually, he called to tell me everything had been approved. A week later, my insurance company confirmed they would cover a full roof replacement. It was a huge relief—I’ve only owned this home for six years, and I had no idea how I was going to get the roof taken care of.

Str8forward Roofing came out early in the morning and completed the job efficiently. When they left, I didn’t find a single nail in my yard. These guys are true professionals who take pride in their work. I will be recommending them to anyone in the North Texas area, and if I ever need roofing or construction help in the future, I’ll be reaching out to them again....
