Transform Charleston is the ultimate experience! They are amazing roofers! We hired them to come all the way up to Dayton, Ohio for a full roof replacement, James Hardie siding repairs, painting & and a full decking replacement.
They were courteous, professional, meticulous prompt & hardworking! We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
From start to finish, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and committed to good communication & doing the job right.
Brent (the owner) and his lead carpenter Sam,
along with exterior consultants and project managers Tyler & Will, all personally supervised the entire project and took pride in making sure every detail was handled properly.
The quality of the workmanship really stood out, including the flashing, sealing, siding and custom woodwork. They also did an excellent job on our shed and playhouse roofs. The crew was conscientious, respectful of our property, and thorough in cleaning up.
What impressed us most was their integrity and willingness to stand behind their work. They provide a strong, transferable warranty that aligns well with their reputation as the very best home remodeling company in Charleston!...

My husband and I recently completed a whole home exterior renovation on our James Island home using Transform Charleston as our General Contractor for the entire project. This was an extensive exterior renovation to our home located right on the ocean requiring a lot of thought and planning on the use of correct materials and construction techniques. Brent and his team invested 2+ months with us prior to the project starting providing invaluable design and construction guidance and related project budgeting. Leading edge materials and build techniques included New Marvin Elevate Windows and doors, TimberTech and Millboard Composite decking for front and back porches, a Brava Cedar Shake roof replaced a damaged asphalt shingle roof. The old siding on the house was replaced with James Hardie Lap + Board and Batten siding which looks spectacular. An elegant custom-built curved staircase up to our new mahogany front doors with stainless steel cable railings on front and back porches are stunning. It’s not surprise that these guys have been recognized as the 'Best Luxury Charleston Remolding Contractor'. We highly recommend Transform Charleston, they are a great group to work with!

This was as perfect of an experience as it possibly could’ve been. Mr Jonathan Spang was our GC. He did an incredible job. The house turned 50 this year and was looking quite rough. It’s the nicest house on the block now (pics for proof - it was yellow and brown before).

Mr Spang and his crews were efficient, truthful, courteous, experts in their respective fields, and also quite fun to talk to. They redid our siding, windows, portions of our roof, re-sheathed our house, repainted (inside and out) added gutters, and a lot of other small fixes too.

The pricing was quite fair and straightforward. The support staff kept my wife and I informed through every twist and turn (as did Mr Spang personally). It was just top notch the whole way though....

Transform Charleston did an outstanding job for me installing new vinyl siding. Every aspect of the job was handled with care and expert work. A supervisor was on site for the entire job and was diligent in his oversight, coordination and communication. I was so happy I went with them because they removed the wrap on the house and examined the entire structure to ensure everything is perfect. The windows had not been flashed properly when my house was built so there was rot under almost all of them. There was considerable damage around the garage door. Transform was able to handle it all with skill and efficiency. I am so happy I chose them. Such nice people who are so easy to work with. I have total confidence with their work and am so proud of my house now!...
