My husband and I got four estimates to replace our roof. Not only was My Pittsburgh Roofing the least expensive by a few thousand dollars, Gino's explanation of the GAF roofing system he uses gave us the most confidence that we were choosing the best contractor. From start to finish, Gino was professional. The roofing crew did an amazing job, finishing the install in one day. I was amazed at how thorough the cleanup was, with the crew checking carefully to find any stray nails and discarded materials. When we noticed a mistake in how a small section of the roof was laid, Gino sent out a crew to fix it and make sure that everything was correct and that we were happy. I highly recommend this company...

When it was time for a new roof, we sought out numerous bids.  Gino came to our home and gave a very detailed estimate.  He was very honest and sincere.  We knew his company was the one for the job! This is an excellent roofing company.  When I realized I needed a new roof, I sought out a number of contractors.  M&Y was recommended by realtors at the agency where my son in law works, and by a good friend whose roof they'd recently done.  The estimate provided by Gino was complete and very detailed.  He took the time to explain all he'd do, and why.  His drone flight showed items the other roofers hadn't included or had missed.  His bid was middle of the road and the most thorough.  On job day, the crew was large, quick and thorough.  I've never had a better one.  Gino was there and made sure the contracted items were done.  The cleanup was extremely thorough and not an afterthought...important when dealing with stray roofing nails.  The  new roof looks great.  M&Y is a superb roofing company and I highly recommend them...

M&Y replaced our roof, gutters, and downspouts, and installed vinyl soffits/siding, aluminum fascia capping, and aluminum gutter guards. They communicated well and did excellent work.

Highlights:
- Gino’s estimate was by far the most detailed of the three quotes we got. He was the only one to go into the attic to inspect the existing decking and soffit vents.
- All work was permitted, and Gino communicated about this up-front. Other roofers that we talked to claimed a permit was unnecessary, which I’m pretty sure is not true.
- While the work was ongoing, I realized I had forgotten to request that a new bathroom vent be installed. Gino personally installed it and graciously did not charge for it...
