If you are evaluating roofing companies, I recommend obtaining multiple quotes and carefully researching each contractor before making a decision. Verify that they have a physical business address, a valid Pennsylvania contractor’s license, and a strong reputation through resources such as the Better Business Bureau. It is also important to understand who will actually perform the work, as some companies subcontract projects without clearly communicating this to homeowners.

I chose Equity Roofing for several reasons:
1. Personnel: Every team member I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
2. Comprehensive Proposal: My estimate was exceptionally detailed, spanning 34 pages and including aerial images of my home, descriptions of the required work, safety procedures, staff contact information, material specifications, package options with transparent pricing, a military discount, and a Certificate of Workmanship Warranty.
3. Professional Project Management: Equity Roofing uses CompanyCam Project Timeline, which provides real-time jobsite updates and photos. Since I currently live in Texas, this feature allowed me to monitor progress remotely and share updates with family and friends. When additional underlayment was unexpectedly needed on my porch roofs, the Project Manager, Jesse, promptly notified me, provided a detailed assessment of the materials and labor required, and submitted a change order only after receiving my approval. This level of communication and transparency reflects true professionalism.

My Pennsylvania Victorian home's original slate roof lasted an impressive 116 years. To honor its legacy while complementing future exterior improvements, I selected Williamsburg Grey Owens Corning Duration shingles, along with a 6-inch white gutter system featuring Gutter RX leaf guards and white aluminum fascia. This roofing company has been wonderful to work with from planning to finishing the job. Terrell,Evan,Kent,David,and Keith who were on our job worked with great workmanship. Highly recommend this team! We had a piece of aluminum fascia wrap pull loose and hang dangerously over a second-story window after high winds and heavy rain over the weekend. They responded quickly with clear, honest upfront pricing tiers based on urgency. A professional two-man crew arrived right on schedule, brought matching clay material just in case, and completed the entire repair perfectly in under an hour. Incredible communication, fast turnaround, and very fair pricing. Will absolutely use them again for future exterior needs...

I  had my entire roof replaced during the 4th of July week —-plus some additional enhancements—- by Equity Roofing.  To say they did an exceptional job would really be an understatement!  From the very first contact we made with Allen and Yolanda at the Bloomsburg Home Show, through the quoting process with Jon, and then the installation process with Josh and Trey, the professionalism, communication, customer service and QUALITY work they did was outstanding!  And that was after getting quotes from three other companies.

The crew doing the work was unbelievably efficient and worked almost non-stop.  Both Trey and Josh are 5-star-caliber leaders!  All of my questions were answered in the moment.  The additional work —- installing insulation —-was flawless.  The help I requested from Josh and Trey to get my part of the project done was met with, “We can definitely help, what do you need us to do?”.  The quality of the work they did, and the warranty they provide, gave my wife and I all the confidence, satisfaction and assurance we needed to confirm we contracted with the right company!

To reinforce that, before they began our project, we were invited to their open house and celebration of their company, employees and community.  How we saw them interact and treat each other, their friends and neighbors and their employees was something not seen a lot today.  They definitely have their priorities in the right place and it was great to experience it with them.
