„Kimberly Sholl says: Our 5 year old Ryan Home had a leak in our bathroom bump out roof. After contacting several roofing contractors, we decided to use Dynamic Roofing Solutions. Charles Fogle was able to come out and assess the issue the same day I called, which was a huge relief as many other companies I called either couldn't get out until later in the week or didn't have availability on their schedules at all. When Charles arrived, he looked at the issue from inside first and then used a drone to inspect the roof. He took several pictures that identified quite a few problem areas. There were shingles lifted, misplaced shingles, and nail heads placed in all the wrong places including right in the center of some shingles (see first picture). After discussing the issue with me in depth, he explained their plan to fix the issue and gave me a quoted price. The price was not the least expensive of the quotes I received, but it also wasn't the most expensive. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the assessment and felt confident that Charles and his team would get the issue solved and ensure I wouldn't have any issues in the future with that portion of the roof. I was impressed by their ability to get me on the schedule by the following Monday. The team arrived at about 7:30 am and were completed by 10:30 am. Through the process, Tyson took several pictures with a drone of the progress (picture #2). The team got everything finished and then cleaned up after themselves. There were no signs they were even here after they were gone. It was a pleasure to not need to go out into the yard and pick up roof remnants. The finished product was well done and looks professionally done (picture #3). The next day I was able to access the images they took of the progress. Those images are going to be extremely helpful in dealing with Ryan Homes and possibly a lawyer since our home is only 5 years old. I can't say enough about how professional, helpful and patient Charles and his team were. It was a pleasure working with them throughout the process and they made my life easier by explaining everything to me. The Dynamic Roofing Solutions team were easily accessible and stayed in contact with me before, during and after the project. Unlike other contractors, they were quick to respond to any messages and provided any information I needed quickly. Even after the project completed, they were helpful in getting me all the images I needed. „Sara Sciulli says: TLDR - EAS quoted us using the same materials as a national big box company for half the price, so we went with them. They did an amazing job. Full story - EAS did a wonderful job replacing our roof. We had three companies come and give us estimates. A big box company, EAS, and a private contractor. The big box company came first, and I'm glad they did. They were so very pushy, we somehow allowed them to convince us to come out the very next day (we went to the Pittsburgh home and garden show specifically to find someone to replace our roof and found all three of these places at the show) The big box company did a very thorough inspection of our roof, showed us many photos that they took during the inspection and talked to us in length about possible issues that might come up and what they expected to be issues when the old shingles were actually removed. (We ended up needing an entire redecking) The Big box company was here for over 3 hours and it was a VERY long visit, but it really helped us understand what all goes into replacing a roof and specifically what the issues were with our roof. EAS came next, then the contractor. Both quotes from EAS and the private contractor were very similar. With the knowledge we had from the first visit from the big box company we kind of knew what to look for with regard to what work may need done when EAS and the private contractor both came. We ended up going with EAS because they were going to do the exact same work that the big box company was going to do but it was half the price. Same materials, same venting, same flashings, same gutters but honestly 1/2 the price of the big box company. Also, the big box company tried to push us to make a decision right away, then offered a small discount if we made our decision right then, but it was our very first quote and we did what any responsible homeowner would do and got multiple quotes. I'm definitely not into the pushy sales people. I did appreciate the thorough inspection but not the astronomical price and the pushiness to make a decision right away. Also with the "discount" that the big box company offered, it was still $10,000 more than both of the two other quotes. If you need a roof replaced, I recommend doing the same thing we did. Get multiple quotes, make an informed decision. If you want to know what big box company we had, I don't want to call them out specifically but I'll let you know they told us they have a sales booth at BJ's wholesale and they said that they don't even need to do advertising because they are so good and word of mouth gets them business. They are a national business all over the United States. EAS replaced our roof in one day, did the gutters the next day. The crew was great, they cleaned everything up. EAS sent us multiple emails in advance so we were 'prepared' for it and knew what to expect. Scott that came out and gave us the quote was just a regular guy who wasn't trying to push every bell and whistle. He was very honest with the different levels of shingles and materials and wasn't pushy. We were very comfortable choosing EAS and I highly recommend adding them to your roof replacement option if you're in the market for a new roof...“ Show more

We received a few bids from other companies in our area the first being from a smaller company who honestly told us it was to big a job for him, the second came from a big corporate company after hearing the salesman pitch we were really put off by his offer of deducting $15,000 if we signed a contract at that moment! My wife and I decided we wanted to go with a local family owned business that would be more personal for us and called C.L.Frey. When I called to set up an estimate the lady who I later found out was the owners wife Trilby informed me that the owner Jerry would be out personally to look at our house. He showed up on time on the day of the appointment and I must say was very knowledgeable and professional with his assessment of the project. He informed us he would have a quote in a few days which made my wife and I feel less pressured and at ease with him. We received the quote from Trilby two days later and as Jerry did inform us it wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive it was right in the middle. After discussing the bid with my wife we decided to hire C.L.Frey. I called Trilby and informed her but needed a little time to get the funds together she said that wasn't a problem and would put us on the schedule when we were ready. On the day the job was started Greg the Forman and nephew of Jerry's showed up early and discussed the roof with me the crew showed up at 7am promptly and our house was completely tarped off to prevent any damage to our house by 8. Jerry showed up a little after 9 and went up on the roof and discussed everything with Greg came down and assured me all was going well. The roof was completely done and grounds cleaned up by 6pm. Being that our house was older there was one problem that Greg and Jerry found when they removed the existing soffit although it wasn't a major problem Jerry informed me that I might want to consider shoring up my overhangs to prevent any problems down the road. That evening Jerry called and gave me a very fair price for the extra work and Greg and him showed up the next day to do the work personally! The 3rd day the soffit, facia and gutter crew showed up and completed the job on schedule. Hiring C.L.Frey was the best decision my wife and I could have made.
