If you are evaluating roofing companies, I recommend obtaining multiple quotes and carefully researching each contractor before making a decision. Verify that they have a physical business address, a valid Pennsylvania contractor’s license, and a strong reputation through resources such as the Better Business Bureau. It is also important to understand who will actually perform the work, as some companies subcontract projects without clearly communicating this to homeowners.

I chose Equity Roofing for several reasons:
1. Personnel: Every team member I interacted with was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
2. Comprehensive Proposal: My estimate was exceptionally detailed, spanning 34 pages and including aerial images of my home, descriptions of the required work, safety procedures, staff contact information, material specifications, package options with transparent pricing, a military discount, and a Certificate of Workmanship Warranty.
3. Professional Project Management: Equity Roofing uses CompanyCam Project Timeline, which provides real-time jobsite updates and photos. Since I currently live in Texas, this feature allowed me to monitor progress remotely and share updates with family and friends. When additional underlayment was unexpectedly needed on my porch roofs, the Project Manager, Jesse, promptly notified me, provided a detailed assessment of the materials and labor required, and submitted a change order only after receiving my approval. This level of communication and transparency reflects true professionalism.

My Pennsylvania Victorian home's original slate roof lasted an impressive 116 years. To honor its legacy while complementing future exterior improvements, I selected Williamsburg Grey Owens Corning Duration shingles, along with a 6-inch white gutter system featuring Gutter RX leaf guards and white aluminum fascia. Equity Roofing did a fantastic job replacing our siding. All the people we encountered were absolutely wonderful. Jon was very prompt and detailed with the quote and explanation of work. He made sure we were completely satisfied with our selections. Terrell and Joshua, the site supervisors, were amazing. They both checked in regularly to ensure that the work was progressing on schedule and that we were satisfied. They explained each phase in detail and answered any and all questions. They also returned any text messages or phone calls very promptly. Luis and Primo are true craftsmen. They do phenomenal work and treated our home like they would theirs. They did such good work we had a few people stop and compliment them. They also cleaned up any mess daily and did a final walk around with us. We could not be happier and will certainly recommend Equity Roofing to everyone....

Fantastic company! The finished roof and vents are exceptional, and the team is very hard-working, personable and communicative from beginning to end. Hot days didn’t slow them down, and they were strategic on getting the most out of days with scattered showers.  The finished product looks wonderful!

Fantastic job by the entire Equity group from Cory who I first met with and Ivy, Ben and Jordan in the office it was easy and well organized.
