Charles Fogle was able to come out and assess the issue the same day I called, which was a huge relief as many other companies I called either couldn't get out until later in the week or didn't have availability on their schedules at all. When Charles arrived, he looked at the issue from inside first and then used a drone to inspect the roof. He took several pictures that identified quite a few problem areas. There were shingles lifted, misplaced shingles, and nail heads placed in all the wrong places including right in the center of some shingles (see first picture). After discussing the issue with me in depth, he explained their plan to fix the issue and gave me a quoted price. The price was not the least expensive of the quotes I received, but it also wasn't the most expensive. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the assessment and felt confident that Charles and his team would get the issue solved and ensure I wouldn't have any issues in the future with that portion of the roof. I was impressed by their ability to get me on the schedule by the following Monday. The team arrived at about 7:30 am and were completed by 10:30 am. Through the process, Tyson took several pictures with a drone of the progress (picture #2). The team got everything finished and then cleaned up after themselves. There were no signs they were even here after they were gone. It was a pleasure to not need to go out into the yard and pick up roof remnants. The finished product was well done and looks professionally done (picture #3). The next day I was able to access the images they took of the progress. Those images are going to be extremely helpful in dealing with Ryan Homes and possibly a lawyer since our home is only 5 years old. I can't say enough about how professional, helpful and patient Charles and his team were. It was a pleasure working with them throughout the process and they made my life easier by explaining everything to me. The Dynamic Roofing Solutions team were easily accessible and stayed in contact with me before, during and after the project. Unlike other contractors, they were quick to respond to any messages and provided any information I needed quickly. Even after the project completed, they were helpful in getting me all the images I needed. Even the owner reached out to ensure I was satisfied and was willing to answer any additional questions I might have. The McClellands team I worked with from Brock during the quote process to Nathan and David during the project and the communication from the office staff throughout was fantastic. In Depth Review: McClellands was 1 of 5 companies I got quotes for my roofing project. This entailed a total reroof, soffit, fascia, gutters, small amount of siding. This was the largest home improvement I have done and first time going through this process. McClellands was the last company I met with and what ultimately won me over was the fact Brock (owner) came to my house and walked me through everything - explaining how he strives to give customers great value for money. The other company I was debating against was more difficult for the homeowner as they provided a good, better, best and it was up for me to decide instead of relying on the expertise of someone like Brock. I waited around 3 months from point of signing the contract to start date. All of the main companies I talked to had 2-3 month wait times as well, so the fact my roof wasn't leaking made this not a deal breaker and was a good sign they aren't struggling for business by any means. Overall the project took 3 full days and then a few hours of the project manager coming back out to do finishing touches. The roof was done in the first day. The crew was great and respectful of the property. Did a great job of cleanup of nails as I didn't find that many after they left out of the thousands that were removed and then added. Soffit, fascia were done by a separate crew following day and a half. Very tedious work and the biggest change as we went from old, dirty white to all black aluminum. Craftsmanship of the custom aluminum fascia was fantastic and the soffit looks just how we envisioned. The crew themselves were very professional and friendly. Aluminum siding was also installed by this crew and later painted black. Gutters were installed on the 3rd day by a different crew. This only took a few hours and love the black seamless aluminum look. I've been outside during rain storms and I have found no leaks in either the gutters or downspouts. Nathan was who I worked with most and he was excellent at taking the time to answer some questions I had and also come back to add finishing touches. When I had a couple concerns he was quick to come back out and correct which is exactly what you want when going through a large project like this.
