Desiree White says: „My husband and I decided we wanted to have our hardwoods refinished on our 54’ farmhouse, so we narrowed it down to three companies: Mr. Sandless, New Dimensions, and Govich. Mr. Sandless was recommended to us so we decided to reach out to them first for a walkthrough. After careful review, we ended up going with Mr. Sandless, not only because their quote fell right in the middle of the other two but because they stood out with their punctuality and professionalism. We had the pleasure of working with Kyle who made us feel relaxed throughout the whole process since we were in constant communication with him and he answered every question we had right away. He was straightforward with us on how a full sanding would be needed due to the condition of our floors, and he remained flexible and patient with us even when I added an extra room to the job plus 4 transitions that were not originally on the quote. On top of the high traffic areas which had stains and peeling, there were several areas that he had to replace boards to correct. The pictures do not do his work justice, but everything came out seamless and you cannot even see where the corrections were made. After the first day, we gave Kyle our gate code as well as the code to our house so he could have the freedom to work his magic. We do not afford everyone this amount of trust, but with him being a fellow veteran we quickly became comfortable with him enough to be on our property without us. He kept his areas clean and was respectful to our newly renovated house, which was very important to us since some people come in hot and leave a mess of touchups behind. He is so meticulous about his work that at one point we saw him on his hands and knees with a headlamp on checking the floor for perfection. He showed us the selection of stain colors that they had right away so we had time to choose, and he had recommendations for ones that would look great with the type of hardwoods that we have. He brought a couple of sample pieces with him that had several stains on them to show us since the photos on Minwax’s website are difficult to envision. Between the four that we wanted to see a sample of on the floor, one of them was a stain that he hadn’t worked with before. This is the one that we ultimately chose because of its modern look and relevance to our home’s overall look. His attention to detail and competence made this process a joy and we could not thank him enough for making these floors look better than we could ever imagine.
