They are best in class. I was skeptical at first, since my first contact with them was while they were knocking door to door after a large hail storm that damaged hundreds of roofs in our area (north of Ann Arbor, MI). It sounded too good to be true (it was a homeowners insurance claim) but in the end, it exceeded my expectations.
The job (whole roof replacement and gutters) was done last fall, with great craftsmanship by the sub-contractors and easy communication with the folks at the site (Emmanuel and Luke) and with the office staff...

From start to finish this company was amazing to work with. Josh assessed our damage and worked with our insurance company for approval. Carolyn was great at arranging the scheduling and following up to ensure we were satisfied throughout the process. If you want a professional, knowledgeable and personable team assisting you through the roofing process I highly recommend Universal Builders.
In addition to having our roof completed, we also had a new skylight put in and new gutters all of which these guys coordinated with for scheduling.
I cannot say enough good things about this company. Universal Builders was top notch and an all around great experience...

Excellent work & professional service!! TWICE. This is the second roof replacement that Universal Builders has completed, and assisted with in getting the work approved through home insurance after a storm. Emmanuel J. is an awesome inspector & point of contact for the job. Our Foreman Dave Iceman was so helpful and cared about the work to make it right. The day of the work the team showed up early and worked all day with little to no interruptions, and allowed us to come & go with ease. All work was inspected afterwards and cleaned up well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!...
