I changed the bathroom knobs, faucet, and the showerhead as there was a small drip even after closing the water. I always get nervous with plumbers potentially charging extra or saying something different on the day of the job. But the staff were friendly and always responded to my phone calls. They actually waived the visiting fee as a promo, which was really nice, and they gave me a number of options with different designs, with and without their membership (which comes with discounts and annual tune-ups). Once I made a choice with the quote, it stayed exactly the same. They always let you know who is coming to your house with a picture and full name of the plumber, and give you a courtesy call like 30-40 min ahead of time. I think this is very considerate of them for the customer. For both estimate and the actual job, both plumbers came right on time (it was two different people). Also I was initially told that the job will take 5-6 hours, so that's what I had told my Property Manager for the water shut-off. Adam, however, finished it in like 2 hours (for the part requiring the water to be shut off for the whole building), and was extremely experienced. This helped to minimize the inconvenience to my neighbors. He even checked one of the common valves for me and told the Property manager (who was on site) that it may need replacement as it serves mutiple units. I felt that Adam took the job more than as a job, and he really cared about the safety of his customer as well as those in the building. The final payment I made was exactly same as what was originally quoted, the water drip was gone, and the whole job was finished before noon. The only thing to mention is that they had to remove part of the wall to access the pipe from behind and they don't do wall replacements. They did try to minimize the size of the square hole. Just mentioning for future buyers/customers, so they are aware of this. Otherwise I'm happy with the service from Wilson: it was hassle-free. We appreciate you! Update: DJ came back to the house today, it was a scheduled visit. He came back to go over our 7 year old furnace with a fine tooth comb. The problem was that we went with another company to get our furnace and our air conditioner. The guy who sold us our equipment, ended his life right after. The things that were promised when we purchased it was never put in the final contract he said he had to go write it up, at the office. New addition vents no new ductwork. DJ showed us how there is corrosion in our furnace, he showed us how everything is rusting. So he worked up a quote doing everything we wanted in the first place that the other company said that they could not do. Our basement is damp has been since we bought the house. We got financed right here on our front porch, he showed us the quotes on several different options. All new ductwork some new additional vents, the furnace is going to be hung from the floor joists in the basement away from the water that drains in when it rains. And we are now able to move the air conditioner to the other side of the house tucked away nicely not by the driveway. We have a driveway that is up hill and we were always afraid that coming up the driveway in the winter sliding into the air conditioner. He is able to do everything that we wanted, and we got the actual quote emailed as soon as we chose it option we wanted. Everything was done professionally and I cannot wait until it’s completed. Again I can’t thank you enough for all your honesty DJ, it has been a total pleasure working with you. Final update So we had our new furnace and air conditioner installed. The 2 guys that installed our units were great. They did an amazing job. We have a foreclosure that we are gutting and is completely a mess right now, those guys didn’t treat us any differently and we appreciate them. Great job guys and thank you...“ Show more
