„Ali Outa says: We purchased our house in 2022 knowing that the roof was in terrible shape with two layers on top of each other and 3/8th plywood everywhere. We started looking for roofers and met with at least 6 different companies ranging from small companies to large corporations with presence in several states. The price estimates ranged from cheap and unrealistic (cut corners, no insurance, no warranty and not registered with GAF) to reasonable, to outrageous were we need to pay the full overhead and marketing of a large company that subcontract its work. We found Kevin with Chief Cornerstone through Facebook. He met with us before we went on vacation. He was very professional, honest and straightforward. He told us that all the plywood needs to be changed as 1/2in is the code for roofs in Long Island, as we expected and gave us the most reasonable estimate while demonstrating his GAF certification. He's the owner and operator which explains why he was a straightshooter in his estimate. We felt that though we just met him, we could tell that he's trustworthy and we cut the deal with him in the same meeting. He walked us though through all the details of how he was going to tear our old roof and install the new one. We have young children and he promised that the work will be done in one day soup to nuts and that every last nail and residue old roof will be cleaned well before he receives his payment. Indeed, Kevin and his foreman Mario showed up first thing in the morning and managed an army of guys (12 people) who worked diligently throughout the 100F hot day, rotating shifts and got the whole job done by 3pm. It was very impressive not just in terms of quality and professionalism but also cleanliness and speed. I witnessed Kevin himself climbing up the roof and picking up the last couple of nails to make sure the roof was spotless. I had recommended Chief Cornerstone to my neighbor who managed to get his roof done 4 days before me and now both houses look like they got a face-lift. I highly recommend Kevin and his company and look forward for more future projects with them around my house...“ Show more
