After a quick search for solutions, I decided to call my home warranty service, hoping they would resolve the issue quickly. A technician was dispatched. However, I soon discovered that my warranty only covered the bare minimum of the technician's charges, leaving me feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. I posted my situation on a site and just when I was about to throw my hands up in despair someone commented to call Passionate Cooling & Heating so I did. I spoke to Jason and he arrived promptly. He was not only professional but also incredibly honest about the situation. He conducted a thorough diagnosis free of charge and took the time to explain what needed to be done. Unlike my experience with the warranty technician, who seemed more focused on getting more money out of people's pocket, Jason prioritized helping me understand the problem. He informed me that the reason why there's no air flowing out of the a/c is because the motor blower needs to be replaced and possibly the circuit board considering the fact that the unit is old and wasn't maintained well by the previous owner. He provided me with options and discussed potential costs. I had informed him about my situation with the home warranty and he didn't pressure me into making a decision. As soon as I told him that I will move forward with them fixing my a/c he sent his technician Krayson right away. He replaced the motor blower, but it still didn't work and as Jayson mentioned on the initial diagnosis the circuit board also needed to be replaced. I had an appointment that day and have to leave the house. They were both patiently waited until I was back from my appointment and Krayson came back with a new circuit board to finish the job and the a/c is now back up and running. Thanks to Jason and his team. I couldn't be more grateful for their promptness and professionalism, especially considering the circumstances. I highly recommend Passionate Cooling & Heating to anyone experiencing HVAC issues, especially fellow new homeowners who may find themselves in a similar predicament.
