I have a very old hvac system, and beginning in April my husband and I began getting estimates hoping our current system would last until the fall. We had not made a decision regarding who we would hire to install the new unit. The air conditioner was working well all summer until I came home around 5:30 pm last Thursday and the temperature was 78 degrees. I called a company close to my home and they sent someone within 1 hour to see what the issue was. The technician come out and said he wasn't sure what the issue was but the air was back on. I was so relieved and grateful because my mom lives with us. When I arrived home on Friday evening, the temperature was again at 78 degrees. I searched again for another company close to home and decided to try Home Comfort Systems. Although it was after 5:00, they were able to find a technican, Johnathan that was willing to leave his last job and stop by the house to see if he could get the system going. He was there until dark. Finally, he came to the door and said I am so sorry, but I am not sure what is going on...I thought what I did would work, but it is not working. He then said let me check your thermostat again and he reset it. He apologized again, but he said I called my manager and we can both come back tomorrow at 8:00 am Saturday morning to look at it together. He was very concerned that we would not have air and asked if I needed a fan. I told him I had a fan in the garage and I would see him tomorrow morning at 8:00 am. I then realized I had not paid him and asked how much do I owe you he said don't worry about it we will back in the morning. As soon as he left, I went to the garage and got the fan and took it upstairs to my mom, I heard the doorbell ring. It was Johnathan. He said as I was getting ready to leave and I think the unit came on, can I come in and check your vent. The air was working!!!!! The air has worked since. When we met on Saturday, Dustin and Johnathan discussed the good, better, and best estimates base on our needs, and budget. I am impressed by them taking the time to meet with me while ensuring that the unit is working as best as it can. They are both compassionate, have integrity, and diligent. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends...“ Show more

He even laughed at some of our jokes! We know he had a long day on this very very hot one... Yet he still serviced us at the end of the evening before going home. Can you believe we’ve been here over seven years and never knew there was a filter in our crawlspace? We have now replaced our capacitor twice in the past four years… But because of Mustapha, we won’t be doing that again anytime soon!! An $85 filter that needs to be replaced once a year. And now we won’t even need to utilize the filter inside the house for this unit anymore. It was doing so much extra work because the filter in the crawlspace was more than likely far older than seven years old. He did us such a solid by helping us find the root to our capacitor problem! Not to mention the gentleman in customer service who took our call at 6:30 this morning. He set us up with a same-day appointment. We’re so thankful to Service Experts!! ***We have experienced progressively better and better service from Service Experts...they are aptly named. Recently our technician Tim gave excellent recommendations for us to handle the failure, once again, of components in our 24-year old (yes, that's right!) upstairs A/C unit. His complete honesty about repairs needed vs. replacement aided us in our decision to have him call Miss Teresa (who was wonderful) to set up an appointment with Will to come give us the details for choosing a new unit. Will came the very next day and explained thoroughly our options re: unit, financing, installation and longtime care. His honesty and straightforward demeanor helped us feel confident in our choice. The price quoted was absolutely comparable to others, and we knew we were going to get a reputable unit. And to top it all off, his installers were willing to come out on that Thursday, the day tropical storm Debby was going through our area. Richard showed up early the next morning, spread drop cloths inside and removed our old unit and installed the new in the attic with Fred. The two of them worked so efficiently and were so polite. Fred worked back-and-forth with Richard and David who worked on the unit outside under a tent in the wind and rain...the three of them did a very thorough job of installation in less-than-ideal conditions. We were impressed with our new unit and have been completely satisfied with its cooling since install. The new thermostat is so easy to use, too, and great that we can operate remotely via our wi-fi as well. Since installation, we've had great dealings also with Jennifer in the billing department, aiding us with a refund due to us -efficiently and so friendly.
