David A says: „Ethan took ownership of the job and took so much care to make sure we were satisfied in every way with the job they were doing (and we were!) I can't pat him on the back enough for renewing my faith in honest contractors.
Special nods and thanks to the install team and special nods and thanks to Melissa and Melinda in the office for their expert handling of the coordination needs that arose during all of this.
All of you should be proud of the job you do! And the owner can be VERY proud of the job his staff is doing! I do so recommend American Veteran A/C for any HVAC needs with 10 out of 5 stars.(yes that's 10 out of 5)
My current system stopped cooling one Thursday. By the time I realized it and checked the things I knew to look at, it was late Thursday. So I waited until 1st thing Friday to contact American Veteran A/C. They said they could send someone out that afternoon. The tech (Ethan) showed up as promised, calling when he was in route to me. Ethan was as nice and as professional a guy as I could of asked for and carefully explained what he wanted to do. Before setting foot in my house he put gloves and shoe covers on. Anyone that set foot in my house was always very careful not to track dirt or mud in. Sometimes changing shoe covers multiple times.
After checking my system out Ethan gave us the bad news that it was not holding refrigerant and ultimately recommended a new system based on age and past problem history. We agreed and Ethan set down with my wife and I laying out our options. After looking into a few of the options we chose a system. My wife and I are older and I have Diabetic and Heart issues that require me to have lots of medications that have temperature requirements. High heat can also cause me additional heart problems. We couldn't keep the house cool enough versus outside temps and I risked loosing it all. Ethan called around and got us window units to use until they got us back up again. Ethan then left to get things going for an installation. American Veteran A/C contacted me offering to schedule the install for Tuesday (only 2 business days out!). They worked with my schedule and we chose Thursday for the install. 1st thing Thursday morning came and 3 guys knocked on the door with gloves and shoe covers already on ready to dig in. All three guys were always personable, professional, and always took the time to answer any questions I developed along the way. The install went well with the only issue being the vent in the access door covering the A/C closet was to little and whistled loudly. We decided they would add another filter vent into the door to increase the flow. They had to come back to do that but it worked perfectly.
The day after the install the system struggled to keep up getting as high as 81 when set to 78. I emailed American Veteran A/C and was contacted that day and Ethan came back that afternoon. He tweaked several things and soon the temp in the house began to go down and was holding the correct temp by that evening. About a week later They called to follow up was I happy how everything went and made the 1st maintenance appointment which we just had and everything is great.
I'm harder than most on contractors to make me happy because I expect them to do what they say they will do when we outline the scope of the job. I've been ripped off just as most people have.
No matter who I dealt with they were ALWAYS nice, professional, patient, and truly seem to care that I was being taken care of in any way they could and I could not be happier...“ Show more
