Requested service and were able to get an appointment the same day.
Received multiple emails and texts, which included the name(s) of the various techs we worked with along with a link to a site that showed a real-time map with the location of the techs and anticipatedarrival times.
Steven came out and identified the system was low on refrigerant. After a bit of diagnosis, he was able to identify what turned out to be an unrepairable leak in the system. He scheduled an appointment for the following day for an estimate to replace the unit. Since it was being replaced by them, they adjusted the cost of that initial service call.
Roland came out and checked the old unit for size, checked square and cubic footage of the floor the system was to service, checked locations of floor registers and duct sizes, and calculated the size unit required. He presented us with multiple options, discussed those options with us and assisted with applying for financing. Once that was complete, he scheduled us for the next available install date that met our schedule.
Rodolfo and Dean arrived and we discussed the locations and time line of the replacement. The old unit was removed and the majority of the new unit was installed by the end of the first day. The new unit was completely installed on the second day, and ahead of the anticipated schedule.
Any time either Rodolfo or Dean needed to enter the home, they knocked to get permission and put on booties to prevent tracking in any dirt.
Once the installation was complete, Rodolfo walked us through the set-up of the new programmable thermostat and showed us how to set up the Trane Home app on our smart phones.
Will absolutely use them for (probably infrequent) future service calls.
