"I had the pleasure of meeting Igor while he was working in my neighborhood. One day, as I was walking my dogs, we stopped to ask him about his work. He kindly explained the job he was doing and even offered a free inspection of our roof to check for hail damage from the recent storm in Charlotte. "Igor and Alex visited my home for a free roof inspection after a major hailstorm. Unlike other roofers they were able to use a drone to get all of the information they needed to be confident my insurance would cover the cost of a full roof replacement. After some research I decided I would trust them with the job. Igor and Alex handled everything with my insurance and as a added bonus my insurance also agreed to pay a large amount to replace my very old and ugly gutters. The job was done fairly quickly as weather allowed and although there was a small issue with some drip edge Igor quickly had it corrected without any fuss. No matter how good you are it is always possible for a problem to arise but what makes a contractor good is when they see the problem and quickly fix it without any stress. "In early May of 2025 our home and entire neighborhood experienced a significant hailstorm Within the first few days afterward we were deluged with contractors seeking our business. I was reluctant to sign with anyone until I met the Owner of Good Roofing and Restoration. Their were multiple reasons for me picking his company over so many others. First of all, he always answered my questions on multiple occasions prior to my signing a contract with his company. The owner was thorough and precise in showing me the roofing components that would be placed on my home. I thought that was very important. Its one thing to be told what the components would be but a great deal different to actually see them. That alone brought me piece of mind. After signing and coming to agreement on certain terms the roof replacement and subsequent repair work was completed. Every step of the way the entire process was followed up on by the owner/ operator of Good Roofing. Any concerns that I may have had were promptly addressed and resolved. "We had a tree fall through our roof while we were on vacation. It broke through the roof and broke 4 of our rafters. We had 3 ceilings fall in afterwards due to water damage. Edgewater Roofing and Construction was there the day afterwards, on a Saturday, getting their tree guys to remove the tree and tarp the roof. We had to have our ceilings repaired and painted. We also opted to go ahead and have our popcorn ceilings removed throughout the house. These guys were so professional and efficient. When they said they would be there, they were. We had heard nightmares about the mess from removing popcorn ceilings from people who had done it in the past. However, while there was some mess which was expected, it was nothing like what we'd been told. These guys covered walls, furniture and floors and used tools that limited the amount of dust and debris. The painting crew that came in afterwards did a fantastic job as well on the ceilings and the rooms that had to be repainted. I would highly recommend them to anyone!! 5 stars is not enough!!"
