We recently completed a major exterior renovation with 180 Contractors that included a new roof, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, skylights, and improvements to our attic ventilation. We are extremely happy with both the experience and the finished result.
Our house had several complicated issues going into this project, including a leak that had been a problem for more than 10 years, a difficult dead-valley area on the roof, and inadequate attic ventilation. From the initial inspection, Anthony identified the problem areas immediately. He took the time to explain what he was seeing, why it was happening, and what needed to be done to correct it. I was impressed that he wasn’t simply focused on selling us a new roof and siding—he was looking at the house as a whole and identifying the underlying issues that needed to be addressed. Once the project was underway and areas of the house were opened up, it confirmed that those concerns were legitimate.
The speed and efficiency of the work were impressive. The roof was torn off and replaced in one day, including the work necessary to correct the problem areas. When the siding portion began, the siding, soffit, fascia, and trim were completed in just a few working days. Despite how quickly the crews worked, I never felt that the job was being rushed or that attention to detail was being sacrificed.
Rick, the siding foreman, and his crew deserve special recognition. They were incredibly efficient, professional, and detail-oriented. They kept the property clean throughout the work and clearly took pride in what they were doing. We chose a less traditional exterior color combination and had some very specific ideas about how we wanted the siding, trim, gutters, and architectural elements to work together. Rick and his crew executed it beautifully. The finished exterior came together exactly the way I had envisioned it.
I also appreciated how transparent 180 was throughout the project. They provided extensive photo documentation of the work, including areas of the house I otherwise would never have been able to see myself. With an older house and a renovation of this size, there are inevitably things that can’t be fully known until the existing materials are removed. When additional decking or sheathing needed to be replaced, I was able to see exactly what they found, and the additional work and change orders were clearly communicated and explained. There were no mystery charges suddenly appearing at the end of the project, which was very important to me.
Sam, our project manager, was excellent throughout the process. I am very detail-oriented and had plenty of questions along the way. Sam was patient, responsive, and willing to explain things rather than dismissing a concern. If I noticed something I wanted checked, he listened and made sure it was addressed.
I especially appreciated the follow-through after the main work was finished. No project of this size is going to go exactly as planned, and I think one of the best measures of a contractor is how they respond when a customer raises a question or concern. When I had questions about a few details after installation, Sam responded, came back out, and made sure they were taken care of. I never felt like they considered the job finished simply because the major work was done.
This was a substantial investment in our home, and choosing a contractor for a project this large was stressful. Considering the scope of the project and the quality of the work, I felt the pricing was very fair and that we received excellent value for the investment.

The transformation of the house is incredible, but knowing that the underlying problems were properly addressed is just as important to me as how great the house looks. Based on our experience, I would absolutely recommend 180 Contractors and would use them again....
