Nate came by to give us a quote and immediately we had a good feeling about him; he was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and above all he was kind. Communication was also top notch which is hard to find these days; he would always answer texts, calls and emails promptly and made sure all questions were answered thoroughly. Upon signing the contract Rocky and crew showed up on time every day and worked rigorously until the evening. They were fast, but also meticulous, and made sure not to leave any messes before they left for the day. They always had a smile on their faces whenever we came out to chat and took the time to have conversations with us regarding the project. Halfway through the project we took an out of country trip, however, the crew remained working just as diligently in order to get the deck done for us. Nate made sure to stay in touch while we were away regarding the team's progress and made sure we had nothing to worry about. After a short two and a half weeks (there were a few days they could not come by due to inclement weather) they were finished! The end product was beyond our expectations--they did an absolutely amazing job and made sure everything was cleah, cohesive and most importantly safe for us and our family. The inspector came by upon completion and gave us a thumbs up; he told us the contractors did a great job with the building of the deck. It has been a couple weeks that we've been able to use the deck with the remaining decent weather we will be getting for the remainder of the year and it has been very enjoyable thanks to Can Roof Construction. Thanks to them we can enjoy a cup of coffee wrapped in sweaters and blankets on our adirondack chairs before work, we can have big family dinners for special occasions as the sun sets, and we now have a place for our dogs to run around freely without worrying about them getting into mischief. I highly recommend going with this company if you are looking to have a deck built for your home; I'm glad I did and you will be too! We selected Northeast Industrial Roof for a persistent leak in our flat rubber roof section for our property in Somerville. This was addressed as a repair by other contractors and unfortunately the leak persisted. The section that was repaired is from an addition completed in 2009. The original contractor for some reason had the roof section pitched back towards the house. While searching for estimates some contractors that came out seemed to just want to put a new layer of rubber roof and not address the pitch issue. Others wanted to strip the roof down and add on costly framing to address the issue. The initial contact was handled by Naib who was super professional and was full of knowledge of how to address our problem. We were speaking and emailing about the job and without initially seeing the project in person or me explaining much, he identified the root of the problem by the photos. He confirmed this in person and gave the most cost-effective solution. He explained the different options of materials and methods to repair. Ultimately, we went with TPO roof membrane and had the roof built to the correct pitch using polyisocyanurate insulation and filler insulation to divert the rain. The job was completed with PVC fascia trim and 5” gutters. The gutters were correctly installed and look great transitioned around a lower fascia trim and new vinyl siding. Naib even reduced the price of the project considerably by being honest and not going all the way to the peak with the TPO, indicating it was overkill. The cleanup effort was the finishing touch with the crew being respectful of a yard full of children’s play structures, and left us with a clean deck and driveway. Dealing with this company was seamless. We went with them due to their great reviews and they lived up to them. Everyone was professional and courteous: Naib our salesperson, Bruna our project supervisor, Hannah from the office, and of course the great team of installers. We thought a roof replacement would be a major hassle and that we wouldn't have time to have it done before our sale. One day we noticed the house across the street had their roof replaced by Woodland HomeWorks who did it quickly, and when they cleaned up you couldn't even tell they were there, other than the new roof and their sign. We were due to have real estate pictures taken the next Wednesday. To make the timing even worse, we were leaving town the day before the pictures, so we wouldn't be there. We thought the pictures would look so much better with a new roof, but didn't really think there was enough time to get it done. We figured we'd give it a shot anyway, so I called Woodland HomeWorks and explained our predicament. Their whole team jumped into action. They sent Joe out that day to take a look at our roof and prepare for an estimate. The next day they came back with the estimate, which was very reasonable. Aja coordinated the scheduling for the project and said they would do everything they could to try to complete the roof replacement all in one day, before our picture date. They would even try to get it done that Monday, before we left town, so we could be there during the install. Leading up to the date of our install there was one rain day and they called to let us know they were doing everything they could to still meet our install date that Monday. Monday rolled around and the dumpster was dropped off that morning. Next arrived all the materials followed shortly after by the installation team and the project manager, Nick. They covered our shrubs, siding and deck with tarps and started removing the old roof. They worked hard all day long and replaced the roof on time and on budget. When they were done Nick gave us a walk-through explaining everything they did. Then they cleaned everything up so that you wouldn't even know they were there. All that remained was the dumpster, which they had removed the following day, Tuesday. When the real estate agent and photographer arrived for the photoshoot at 9AM the next day, Wednesday, the only sign that they were ever there was that our house now had a beautiful new roof for the photos which turned out phenomenal! I would highly recommend Woodland HomeWorks to anyone considering a roof replacement. Their entire team was extremely pleasant and professional from start to finish. Here’s what they did in March 2023: - Installed 83 linear ft of new gutters - Installed 83 linear ft of gutter guards - Installed 6 new downspouts - Installed 24 linear ft of new PVC fascia Here’s why I like them: - They are on-time: Anytime Kiril said they would be at my house they were, and at the time they said they’d be there. - They work quickly but with care: They finished the entire job in probably 8 hours total across 2 days. The only delay was because they had to go to the hardware store to buy the fascia which we didn’t know was needed until the old gutters had been removed. - They are great communicators: They did a great job communicating before the project. Before I committed to using them they told me exactly what work would be done, when, and the cost. They did a great job communicating during the job. If they had any questions about where I wanted something installed or if they needed to show me how or why they planned to install something in a certain way they would let me know before the work began. And they did a great job communicating after the work was done. We walked the property and reviewed all the work to ensure I was happy with everything. And I was. - They are detail oriented: You can tell they take pride in their work and want to make things look as good as possible. And they succeed. - They use quality products: At my old house I had hired a different company to install gutter guards and that company used flimsy low-quality plastic guards and did a poor job installing them, to the point birds started nesting in the gutters! Kiril and Home Vision used high-quality metal gutters, downspouts and guards and did a great job installing them. I know everything will last for many many years. - They are clean: They made sure none of the debris or old gutter systems were left behind. - They are affordable: I’ll be honest, I didn’t do a lot of shopping around to compare prices but I know that given the amount of work they did and the quality of the work I got a great price. - They go above and beyond, even when it isn’t related to the installation: For example, I noticed that their truck had blocked my trash bin but they moved the bin to ensure it would be picked up by the garbage truck! That’s going above and beyond! I’m including a few pics from the completed job. I never knew gutters could be so beautiful! I would recommend Kiril and the team at Home Vision to anyone looking to clean or install gutters and downspouts, install gutter guards, and install new fascia.
