I had a bad experience with another co called roofer in town that was supposed to do my roof and other problems caused by hail. My insurance approved the claim and I thought all would be fixed within a week or so. That roofer would not go by the insurance company and give them the information they needed so my insurance finally gave up and sent me the check. I am so glad I did not cash that check as the roofer kept telling me he would be here to start in a few days. This went on for nearly 6 months and then he quit answering my calls and calling me back. The roof got worse and began leaking into our bathroom every time it rained hard. My neighbor recommended James and Home Concepts so I called and talked to Andrea. It was around 3:00 in the afternoon when I called and we were going on vacation the next day. Andrea told me that she would call James and see if he could come over that day on his way home. I told her that wasn't necessary but she called back 10 minutes later and told me that James would be there in a couple of hours on his way home. Even though we were dealing with an old claim and prices had gone up and now more damage occurring by passage of time of the other roofer not fixing it, James and Home Concepts was able to still do the work promised by the other roofer and much more. James upgraded my roof to a nicer 3D shingle and provided a longer warranty, all at no additional cost to me. To simplify things, James was able to also get my fascia fixed that was also damaged. Once they started working on the roof, James had to replace some plywood sheeting that had rotted due to the damage and did this at no additional cost to me. He also took out our old ugly vents that stuck up from the roof and replaced them with the ones that are flush with the roof which looks so much better. (Forgive me, I'm a lawyer and lay person when it comes to construction, I don't know the technical name for the vents). Me and my wife could not be happier with the roof. James gave us a packet that had the color samples in it to choose from. We were uncertain which color to pick and James and Andrea sent us pictures and addresses so we could see what the color looked like in person. We narrowed it down to three colors and James made a special trip to our house and dropped off full shingles of each of the three colors as he said it may help seeing a full piece as the colors could be a little different on the bottom of the shingle compared to the top. This was extremely helpful as we were able to put the full shingle against our siding and compare. Once we finally decided on the color, they ordered the shingles which were delivered in two days. They day they were delivered, James' crew showed up that same day and began prep. Although it was cool and a little wet, they started and finished my roof in two days I can't tell you how many times I have pulled into my driveway and looked up and thought how I love the job they did and how good the roof looks. I highly recommend Home Concepts if you are looking for an honest roofer who will do an excellent job on your roof and who will provide excellent customer service from everyone at the business.
