If I could rate this company 0 stars I would. They came door knocking back after the heavy storms last year (we found out later that they never had a solicitors permit to even be going door to door in our area legally) and told us it looked like we needed a new roof and that insurance usually pays for it. We decided it was worth it and once insurance approved the new roof they told us to just sign the whole check over to them and they would get out and get the process started. They delivered material in October and shortly after showed up unannounced early on a Saturday and we just assumed they were getting started, however they left after 30 minutes (they left a hole in our roof all the way to the attic this entire time covered by a small tarp through all the snow and storms of the winter). We then got no real communication from them about what was going on until early January when Insurance denied our supplemental claim they put in. Only after we brought up our concerns was it told to us that they had come by and found complications that they needed to fix underneath our shingles. Mind you this entire time most of our shingles were still sitting on the ridge of our roof getting ruined. They placated us by saying they HAD to wait on insurance and we just needed to put pressure on insurance. A few weeks ago we started feeling really uneasy because of how long this process was taking even though almost $9,000 had been paid to them and should’ve been plenty to get started. We decided to look into the new estimate they submitted to insurance and found that they were lying about what we had under with our current shingles. We had a meeting about our concerns with Mariah and Ethan to which they told us they knew the singles were asbestos just by the owner Justin looking at them (a quick google search will tell you that to determine if shingles are asbestos they need to be properly tested). After everything was said and done we no longer had confidence in them doing the job and they told us that even though they had done NOT ONE SINGLE THING on our job other than deliver material that if we decided to use a different company they would be stealing our $9,000 because of their contract that THEY violated by not informing us of changes in an orderly manner among other things. This company is full of crooks who did steal our money with no work to show for it and I would advise you to have someone else do the work. We hired a different roofer last week who did not ask for payment upfront, not only did they swap out the ruined product but they were done with our roof within the week...

Out here defrauding insurance companies for money to "start the job," claiming fictional damage and fictional asbestos on the quote, then badgering to pressure the insurance company for more money.  Never came out to install the roof!  Never even pulled a permit through the city to do the work.  They got belligerent and made threats on the phone when confronted about it.  They also don't pay their material vendors!  Despicable practices!  Find a company with integrity to do your roof!  Crown Roofing has zero integrity.

UPDATE: Reviewing my daughter's horrible experience with your company does not equate to a fake review. You just don't like the negative reports being public. People need to be warned...
