When it comes to your interior painting needs, the outstanding crew at Envision Custom Painting, LLC is, hands down, artistry in motion! Like a well-oiled machine, the combined team of Sherri, Will, and Karen are, by far, the MOST organized and talented troupe who have ever laid hands on my dear, needy home. And trust me, she's had plenty of hands on her! I found their business via a Google search for local painters. My Guardian Angel must have just gotten off her smoke break, as this time she pointed me in the right direction. The reviews I read were very positive, but were they "real" and really that good? After seeing them in action and the final result, I can personally attest, "They're real, and they're spectacular!" Will (co-owner) and Karen (crew member) first visited for a color consultation and project assessment. Sherri, (co-owner and "Chief Amazement Officer") then put together a very detailed and easy-to-understand proposal for painting our 30+ new windows. Upon receiving it and viewing their equally well-organized website, I knew I finally found "The One" for our long list of interior painting needs. Does that sound more than a tad melodramatic? Sure. But, I've hired too many subpar painters (e.g. Think "wall boogers" caused by using dirt-cheap paint rollers.), and none compare to Envision's business sense, clear proposals, and skill. Our job wasn't easy or small: a slider patio door, many double-hungs, and casements and all with the dreaded, "I-just-had-to-get-fancy" permanently fixed muntins/grilles. Will and Karen patiently applied what seemed like mile upon mile of tape to our windows' glass between the muntins prior to painting. They protected all surfaces in our house, including our crummy flooring we plan to replace. Large fans, bright lighting, and other special equipment were set up to reduce sanding dust and help them work effeciently inside and in our garage. We allowed them to continue working while we were away on vacation, which made it easier on them, us, and our dog. They sent photos and progress updates each day. Each worked tirelessly and started/finished on-schedule. When we got home, I was amazed how beautiful all the windows looked and felt: fresh and smooth as silk! (FYI, I chose Benjamin Moore's Chantilly Lace and couldn't be happier.) The day after completion, Will and Sherri visited for a walk-through and showed us a few windows they discovered with operational issues, which we appreciated. Because their result is SO amazing, I hesitated on whether or not to point out a few smudges, but they want their clients 100% satisfied, so I did, and he offered--without blinking--to come back and fix the minor blemishes. In summary (if you got this far), their detailed proposal, swift communication, meticulous prepwork, expert painting methods, fair pricing, and property protection is above five stars! I cannot wait for them to return to spruce up more woodwork and walls. They should go into business teaching other contractors how to run an effective business, as I've never felt this confident and happy before, during, and after a home project.
