I was so impressed because with all of the homes hit in our area and the number of homes I knew they were working on, I was prepared to patiently wait a couple of months. J.R. and his very professional crew arrived on a Wednesday morning and worked through the day until after supper to ensure that the house AND garage roof were complete. Prior to the start of the work, J.R. walked around the outside of the house with us to make sure he knew of anything that needed to be protected during the work. He even expressed care for our dog, ensuring she wouldn't be skittish in the house with the roof work going on. J.R. returned after the completion of the roof and asked if we were satisfied with the work, and gave us information on when to expect the gutters to be completed. We would work with J.R. again and again. He's such a great guy! We are entirely impressed! We have even now requested a quote for additional work that we hadn't originally intended on doing. Since D-Wing is a preferred James Hardie installer, I contacted them for an estimate to repair. Christi promptly returned my call and put me in touch with Dave, the company owner. Dave mentioned the siding planks may still be under the original manufacture warranty and then went above and beyond walking me through the claim process with James Hardie. After I approved the estimate for repair, Dave introduced me to Marco his siding installer and repair expert. Marco was professional, communicated his steps and proved to be an exceptional craftsman. Several siding planks were perfectly replaced. Marco also went above scope and corrected a few other shortcomings he noticed with the siding around the house making it paint ready. I had been getting quotes from other painting contractors when Dave mentioned D-Wing also provided a painting service. Dave introduced me to Dylan, his painting manager. Dylan promptly provided me with an estimate that I found to be not the least expensive but very competitive and was offering the paint supplier I was intending to use already in the estimate. Since I already had a good experience with the siding repair, I decided to accept Dylan's offer for house painting and I couldn't have made a better decision. Dylan introduced me to Jesus, the painting supervisor for his team. Jesus was also very professional, communicated well and also an exceptional craftsman. This is the first team of painters I found to be detail orientated and exceptionally clean. My initial comments to Jesus were, I'm critical of caulking and not having paint where it doesn't belong and he didn't disappoint, the painted house looks great..! I contacted a few companies and left voicemails and Marko Petrovic from Butler was the first to call me back. Not that winning the call-back race matters, but he responded within the hour. He's very easy to get along with, very knowledgeable, kept an open schedule with me, and also seemed to prioritize my needs. When the other companies responded they were professional, but they felt more like salesmen, and I was not gonna deal with that. From the start, I asked if he had any issues dealing with insurance companies, and he assured me he has no problems helping customers out with it. He explained the whole process plainly, but precisely, and was always available for any questions. He came out a few days later to meet and look at my roof. Never once did he try to force me or coerce me to sign any contract. We had an honest and open understanding that if he were "going to bat" for me with insurance and getting the most out of my claim, then we had a verbal acknowledgement that I would use his company's services. I made an appointment with the claims adjuster and had to reschedule because of rain. Marko rescheduled as well. Day of appointment, adjuster didn't show up, and when I got a hold of him he said he accidentally double-booked me and another appointment. Marko had been sitting in his truck in front of my house for about an hour. When the adjuster came a couple hours later, Marko made sure to be there for me, and access the roof with the adjuster. There was light rain and the adjuster didn't seem interested in going on the roof. Marko had a good rapport with the adjuster and they were both able to do a full assessment of my roof. Because of this, I believe, I received the maximum coverage possible through my insurance. He went to bat for me! I met up with Marko about a week later to go over details and cost. He explained everything thoroughly and broke down exactly where the insurance money, and some of my money, was going. He led me through the entire process. Never, at any time, did he come across as a salesman or wanted to push unnecessary items. He left every option on the table, and let me decide what I wanted to do. Next step was getting the roof done. This was honestly the most painless part possible. Marko texted me a few days in advance of when they were thinking of doing it and when they were dropping off materials. He just asked that somebody be around sometime in the morning of the roof replacement because I was having skylights replaced and he needed interior access to align them. Otherwise, I was able to run my errands throughout the day, and let the crews do their work. Marko would stop by a few times throughout the day to check on the work and update me on some things. The crew was outstanding in my opinion! I had a tear-off and it was done in a single day. They couldn't get the gutters done in the same day, due to a delay in the morning from some rain, but were back a couple days later to finish. And the gutters are done by Butler Roofing. He doesn't sub-contract them out to a third party company. During the project there was a ton of debris all over the place but that was all cleaned up! After the work was completed Marko reached out a couple times to make sure everything was all good. As a customer, I appreciate this, as he genuinely wants his customers to be satisfied and it also reflects on his crews great work as well. Again, I appreciate all that Marko, his crew, and Butler Roofing did for me! I honestly vibed well with him and I never once felt misguided or led to somewhere I wasn't comfortable. There's no hidden costs or surprises at the end of the project. He was always understanding of my concerns, always quick to respond to my questions, and always friendly and professional!
