We were shocked by the damage the tree did to our house and we did not even know where to start and what to do. First, we called a construction company for emergency. The company came, estimated the cost and contacted our insurance company for the cost approval. After the official approval by the insurance they removed the tree and did a simple roof tarping. For that we paid about $5K. Later the insurance company representative came to us to estimate the damage repair cost. The insurance company sent us a check for $12K. After that we started searching the contractors who would agree to repair the damage for this money. After seeing the damage, all the contractors were laughing at us: the preliminary damage repair cost they estimated was significantly more as opposed to that the insurance proposed. Why? The tree was huge and our beautiful roof made of stone needed full replacement. Instead, the insurance recommended patching stone slates with asphalt shingles. In addition, there was damage inside of house which must be also fixed. We were desperate and we just did not know what to do. Eventually, one of our co-workers suggested us to find and hire a Public Adjuster who would dispute with the insurance company. We started searching and eventually found Robert Jackson. He came to see the damage and we spent hours discussing details. In the end, Robert honestly explained us that he can dispute appraisal made by the insurance company to adjust the damage claim. Robert warned us, however, we have to be prepared for this process might take from three months up to two years because insurance companies are not in rush to cover expenses. All the arguments presented by Robert we found to be very reasonable and fair. As a result, we signed a contract with his company. It happened to be that Robert Jackson is a President who runs two companies: Claim Adjusting Services (SUMMIT) and Restoration (Roberts Restorations, Inc). We found this combination to be very practical and convenient. After signing a contract, Robert immediately started working on our claim and yet, it took several months and multiple attempts to get an approval from insurance to increase the coverage cost to repair all the damage. Despite the approval, the insurance kept recalling and denying its own approvals over time so Robert should permanently keep disputing their decisions again and again. Eventually Robert started working on our house repair. In doing that, he was very responsive and always kept asking what material/design we would prefer him to use providing us, if possible, samples. Now we happily live in the house repaired by the Robert’s companies. All the work was done very fast and professional. We really enjoyed very much working with Robert Jackson and highly recommend him personally and his associates...“ Show more

I contacted a few companies and left voicemails and Marko Petrovic from Butler was the first to call me back. Not that winning the call-back race matters, but he responded within the hour. He's very easy to get along with, very knowledgeable, kept an open schedule with me, and also seemed to prioritize my needs. When the other companies responded they were professional, but they felt more like salesmen, and I was not gonna deal with that. From the start, I asked if he had any issues dealing with insurance companies, and he assured me he has no problems helping customers out with it. He explained the whole process plainly, but precisely, and was always available for any questions. He came out a few days later to meet and look at my roof. Never once did he try to force me or coerce me to sign any contract. We had an honest and open understanding that if he were "going to bat" for me with insurance and getting the most out of my claim, then we had a verbal acknowledgement that I would use his company's services. I made an appointment with the claims adjuster and had to reschedule because of rain. Marko rescheduled as well. Day of appointment, adjuster didn't show up, and when I got a hold of him he said he accidentally double-booked me and another appointment. Marko had been sitting in his truck in front of my house for about an hour. When the adjuster came a couple hours later, Marko made sure to be there for me, and access the roof with the adjuster. There was light rain and the adjuster didn't seem interested in going on the roof. Marko had a good rapport with the adjuster and they were both able to do a full assessment of my roof. Because of this, I believe, I received the maximum coverage possible through my insurance. He went to bat for me! I met up with Marko about a week later to go over details and cost. He explained everything thoroughly and broke down exactly where the insurance money, and some of my money, was going. He led me through the entire process. Never, at any time, did he come across as a salesman or wanted to push unnecessary items. He left every option on the table, and let me decide what I wanted to do. Next step was getting the roof done. This was honestly the most painless part possible. Marko texted me a few days in advance of when they were thinking of doing it and when they were dropping off materials. He just asked that somebody be around sometime in the morning of the roof replacement because I was having skylights replaced and he needed interior access to align them. Otherwise, I was able to run my errands throughout the day, and let the crews do their work. Marko would stop by a few times throughout the day to check on the work and update me on some things. The crew was outstanding in my opinion! I had a tear-off and it was done in a single day. They couldn't get the gutters done in the same day, due to a delay in the morning from some rain, but were back a couple days later to finish. And the gutters are done by Butler Roofing. He doesn't sub-contract them out to a third party company. During the project there was a ton of debris all over the place but that was all cleaned up! After the work was completed Marko reached out a couple times to make sure everything was all good. As a customer, I appreciate this, as he genuinely wants his customers to be satisfied and it also reflects on his crews great work as well. Again, I appreciate all that Marko, his crew, and Butler Roofing did for me! I honestly vibed well with him and I never once felt misguided or led to somewhere I wasn't comfortable. There's no hidden costs or surprises at the end of the project. He was always understanding of my concerns, always quick to respond to my questions, and always friendly and professional! If/when I need any roof work in the future, I'm making one phone call only (if he's not retired), and that's Marko Petrovic and his crew at Butler Roofing...“ Show more

Dylan promptly provided me with an estimate that I found to be not the least expensive but very competitive and was offering the paint supplier I was intending to use already in the estimate. Since I already had a good experience with the siding repair, I decided to accept Dylan's offer for house painting and I couldn't have made a better decision. Dylan introduced me to Jesus, the painting supervisor for his team. Jesus was also very professional, communicated well and also an exceptional craftsman. This is the first team of painters I found to be detail orientated and exceptionally clean. My initial comments to Jesus were, I'm critical of caulking and not having paint where it doesn't belong and he didn't disappoint, the painted house looks great..!
