Superb service and product with Retro Roofers!  They used a GAF UHDZ shingle with 50 year warranty, class 4 impact rating.  GAF certified installer and product warranty.  The process was very easy.   They also caulked and painted my house which truly transformed it, it’s beautiful!   Very happy customer and highly recommend for both roof and paint...

I highly recommend Retro Roofers.  We had new roof and gutters installed a couple months ago and were very happy with the experience we had with William Korn and Retro Roofers.  We have the best looking roof on the street!  William was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.  I received multiple quotes and while not the cheapest option Retro Roofers was also not the most expensive.  I felt the quality of the workmanship and materials, along with the generous warranty made them the best choice.  I am so glad we decided to work with them.  Replacing a roof can be an overwhelming project, but William kept me informed and was always quick to answer when I reached out with a question.  We had a minor problem come up on the day of install.  I was very pleased with the way this was resolved.  Retro Roofers really went above and beyond to make sure everything was made right. I reached out to Retro Roofers on Saturday after noticing a few shingles on my roof had apparently been blown off overnight in a gust of wind or something, and Will (co-owner) contacted me back shortly after that to discuss the issue I was having and to provide an initial triage after I provided some pictures to him. Will let me know that they would have a team in my neighborhood on Monday already on a different project, and that they could come by and take a look at that time to provide an evaluation of the roof overall to see if it would need to be replaced entirely from other damage, or if a simple fix would suffice.

They followed up on Monday to confirm, and came by later that day as promised and completed the fix very quickly while also evaluating the roof otherwise. While their assessment was that my roof has started to reach the end stages of it's life, they did not immediately recommend replacing it entirely, although they did offer to provide a quote should I want to replace it sometime in the future.

Throughout the entire process, what initially started off with me in a pretty bummed state thinking I may have to probably replace my entire roof, ended with me being completely at ease that not only was my roof problem easy and fast to fix, but also totally confident in knowing that I had found the team that will replace my roof when the time comes, probably sooner rather than later.

I really appreciated the candid assessment and discussion with Will throughout, as well as the final update and assessment that included pictures of the roof and job they did. I did not at any point in time feel like I was being pressured to move forward with a major purchase just to complete a sale or anything on their side, and so, I will definitely use them again for any other roofing need I have, and will also recommend them to anyone I can moving forward.

No one is ever happy about having to replace a roof. The cost, the timing  and the uncertainty of who to pick to get it done correctly causes so much anxiety.  All of theses issues were quickly resolved after speaking with William Korn of Retro Roofers. He addressed  my concerns about the cost simply by coming in with a cost far below the other estimates and by offering financing if I needed it. He responded to the timing issue by completing the job correctly while having to overcome obstacles like the cold weather installation limitations of the shingles and the rain that was predicted. He was able to complete the work in one day. The crew was respectful and polite.  The roof was removed and replaced without ever knowing they were there.
Mr. Korn assured me that the work would be done correctly and stated that there was a warranty for both the shingles and the workmanship.  Both warranties exceeded what the other companies could offer.  He further stated that we, (my wife and I) would have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Really,.... I thought to myself....A roof is a roof.  They all look the same.  I was wrong. The cosmetics of the roof were completely changed.  I could tell from looking at the the shingles (Architectural), that the quality of the materials used like formattable drip edge, ridge caps, pipe and vent boots were not of the same cheap quality that you might find in your local box store.
Our roof, was in fact, nicer looking than any other roof in the area.  My anxieties were dispelled in seeing the completed roof and that the quality of materials that were used, were installed with pride of workmanship.
When I was younger, I installed many roofs for myself and family members of which I took pride in saying that I did the work on  and that I knew it was done correctly.  I'm too old to do this type of work now.  So I had to have this done by someone else. The work that Retro Roofers have done, was done so well, that I would have been proud to say that I did it myself.  You cant go wrong by choosing  them for your needs.
