What Happened

After dealing with a leaky roof and skylight for years, Andy finally saved enough money to hire a contractor. The work was completed and everything went according to plan– until the first time it rained.

Water came pouring in through Andy’s new roof and skylight, which hadn’t been sealed properly. He contacted the roofer and they made several attempts to repair it, eventually blaming the problem on the skylight manufacturer. When the leaks continued, Andy reached out to Directorii for help.

Fortunately for him, Andy’s contractor had registered the job on Directorii.com, which meant it was covered by our $20,000 guarantee . After speaking to both parties and looking at the home, Directorii learned that the contractor had ordered the wrong size skylight.

Our team helped Andy get in touch with a new roofer, who repaired his roof and skylight. In total, the repairs cost more than $12,000. Directorii covered it all.

Homeowner Statement

“Directorii was transparent, attentive, and most importantly quick to resolve my roofing issues. Their team interviewed both myself and the roofers, and determined very quickly that the roofers attempt to "repair" the skylight was not the appropriate course of action. They also discovered that the repair attempts had invalidated my manufacturer warranty.

Directorii allowed me to select a local roofer with an outstanding reputation to fix the damage. After I reviewed the repair proposal, the new roofer ordered a new skylight and replaced most of the shingles surrounding that area. All of this work amounted to over $12K.

Directorii reviewed the work after it was complete and paid my claim in full. I cannot express enough gratitude for Directorii's timely resolution and providing closure to a roofing issue that had plagued me for years.

I would not hesitate to choose another contractor for future work under Directorii.”
