No one is ever happy about having to replace a roof. The cost, the timing  and the uncertainty of who to pick to get it done correctly causes so much anxiety.  All of theses issues were quickly resolved after speaking with William Korn of Retro Roofers. He addressed  my concerns about the cost simply by coming in with a cost far below the other estimates and by offering financing if I needed it. He responded to the timing issue by completing the job correctly while having to overcome obstacles like the cold weather installation limitations of the shingles and the rain that was predicted. He was able to complete the work in one day. The crew was respectful and polite.  The roof was removed and replaced without ever knowing they were there.
Mr. Korn assured me that the work would be done correctly and stated that there was a warranty for both the shingles and the workmanship.  Both warranties exceeded what the other companies could offer.  He further stated that we, (my wife and I) would have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. Really,.... I thought to myself....A roof is a roof.  They all look the same.  I was wrong. The cosmetics of the roof were completely changed.  I could tell from looking at the the shingles (Architectural), that the quality of the materials used like formattable drip edge, ridge caps, pipe and vent boots were not of the same cheap quality that you might find in your local box store.
Our roof, was in fact, nicer looking than any other roof in the area.  My anxieties were dispelled in seeing the completed roof and that the quality of materials that were used, were installed with pride of workmanship.
When I was younger, I installed many roofs for myself and family members of which I took pride in saying that I did the work on  and that I knew it was done correctly.  I'm too old to do this type of work now.  So I had to have this done by someone else. The work that Retro Roofers have done, was done so well, that I would have been proud to say that I did it myself.  You cant go wrong by choosing  them for your needs.

Retro Roofers did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the process, answered all my questions, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of their workmanship is top-notch, and the cleanup afterward was spotless. I had my roof & gutters replaced by Retro Roofers through insurance for hail damage. My insurance company referred me to Retro Roofers. I am very satisfied with the roof/gutters and the service I received.  Brandon Gambrell (co-owner) was my contact. He was very thorough, responsive and explained the scope of the job very well.  I felt he was very honest and customer focused. He worked with the insurance company for approvals and made it a very easy process. I would recommend Retro Roofers to others who are in need of a new roof...

Retro Roofers replaced my entire roof and gutter toppers. These folks set the industry standard for how a roofing contractor should perform.  Fair priced, knowledgeable and professional are just a few of the terms to describe these folks.  Their proposal was the only one received (of 5 other roofer's proposals) that included Certificates of Liability Insurance, County Business License and manufacturer’s certifications.  William Korn, one of Retro Roofers’ owners, met with me several times to ensure the work was proceeding on-time, to standard and at cost.  Mr. Korn first discussed with me the project’s requirements and to prepare the proposal, then stopped by to evaluate its progress with the on-site project manager, and followed up again on-site once the work was completed satisfactorily.  Yes, I recommend these folks and would again have them perform any of my roofing needs...
