Stephen Seabrook says: „Updated response : The initial problem was diagnosed by Josh (Svc Mgr) as a faulty TXV that caused the internal coil in the garage unit to freeze up and prohibit cooling. When he installed a new TXV and coil, the unit worked fine for about a week; but, then failed again. He de-iced the coil and manually adjusted the TXV, it failed again after one week! A very frustrating experience for any homeowner without AC during an early Florida summer in June (mid to high 80's). Josh returned within a week, pressure tested the interior coil for leaks, none were found. Went outside to the compressor, pressure tested unit, and found a small leak in the 'filter dryer' on the bottom of the inside of the compressor. It had rusted after two years into a 10 year warranty period for a Coleman 5 ton unit, and a small rust particle had blocked flow to the TXV. Josh put a new replacement part on the inside garage unit instead of outside where it would be exposed to the harsh humidity and salt air, cleared the TXV, and the problem was resolved within 60 minutes, the house was quickly cooling again, my family was ecstatic, and Josh was very happy that the problem was successfully resolved. It's not always easy to diagnose and resolve a problem like his; but, Josh did not give up on us or the problem with our AC! Great company, tremendous office staff with a frustrated and very unhappy customer, great technicians, service manager, and service from initial contact through three repair visits! This is a company that is committed to their customer, whoever they are and wherever they may be located! I am very to give this company my endorsement... and I hope they never go out of business!!!
Thank you, once again Josh and Air Serve of the EC...“ Show more
