About

Art and Alvaro have been childhood friends from a very young age, growing up together in Nicaragua and attending school together from kindergarten until high school graduation. After college, we put our set our minds into owning and company together, however, we lacked experience. Alvaro went on and worked in Investment banking and at the best Accounting and Consulting firms and Art worked at the biggest home improvement financial institutions in the US where he gained vast and important experience, but most importantly, fell in love with the industry

In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, Art decided that he wanted to pursue this new branch of the industry and decided to get this General Contracting and Roofing license to start his own Home Improvement Company, Stadt Roofing & Construction, named after his families last name Stadthagen.

In 2022, Art and Alvaro started talking about the long thought idea of owning a company together and Alvaro started helping Art in some specific consulting and business strategies until he could finally join full time as a partner in early 2023. Since then, they’ve served hundreds of clients, and after we noticed that most of our customers, friends and family had a hard time pronouncing “Stadt” we decided to change our name. After long thought we decided to emphasize what makes us prouder, and that is making your home secure and making it look a lot better than how we found it, coincidentally “Art”, it is also short for Arturo which is his nickname for his friends in the US.

With more than 4+ years in business, we have partnered with the main suppliers in South Florida and the main manufacturers nationwide to always offer our clients the best trained employees and offer the best service available.
We have set up our organization in the principles we were raised on, putting our employees and customers above everything, and ensuring that they are always happy and secure. As a result, we can proudly say that about 50% of our new customers have come to us by referrals...

I had an excellent experience with Art’s Roofing and Construction. From start to finish the process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. A very special thanks to George Moros who started the process with us. He is an amazing person—knowledgeable, patient, and truly committed to making sure everything went smoothly. His guidance and support made the entire process a great experience. The team was punctual, respectful, and very detail-oriented in their work. The impact windows were installed with precision, and the quality is outstanding—I can already feel the difference in comfort, noise reduction, and security in my home. Also, I would like to recognize the worker who completed the installation (Jose Grasso), His craftsmanship, attention to detail, and hard work were outstanding, and it’s clear he takes great pride in what he does.
What impressed me most was their clear communication and commitment to customer satisfaction. They explained everything thoroughly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was happy with the final result.

I had an outstanding experience with Art’s Roofing! From the very beginning, Sandro made the sales process smooth, transparent, and easy to navigate. Vanessa provided excellent customer service, ensuring everything was well-coordinated, and Arturo, the job coordinator, was my main point of contact throughout the actual replacement. He kept me updated at every stage, making the whole process stress-free.

When the team started the work, they discovered that most of the plywood was rotten—something not entirely surprising given the 21-year-old roof. Despite this unexpected challenge, they handled it seamlessly, adjusting their workflow while maintaining impressive efficiency. Even with the added complexity, they completed the entire project in just two days.

Throughout the process, they kept us posted on all details, calling when needed and sending pictures at every stage. When additional materials were required, they numbered all the plywood sheets and sent pictures of them installed, letting us know exactly how much extra material was used and making the entire process very transparent.

The crew was incredibly professional, efficient, and well-coordinated—everyone knew exactly what was going on at all times. Beyond their craftsmanship, the entire team was polite, careful, and had excellent communication. They also left the site spotless after finishing the job.

Art's Roofing just completed our new roof in Miami Beach, FL. Working with Arturo, George, Vanessa and the rest of the team was a real pleasure. The whole process was totally seamless and smooth. Vanessa always kept me updated on the progress of the project, inspections and city permits. They took care of everything, carefully explained all the details, showed up on time and completed the project beautifully. They also made sure to clean up the work area each day after completing the day's work. My neighbors are already commenting on the professional look of the new roof. Most importantly, I feel comfortable and safe heading into hurricane season with our new roof. I highly recommend Art's Roofing for your next roofing project...

What can I say that a before and after picture won’t say… My home needed a whole lot of TLC and Art’s Roofing & Construction did their thing. I originally wanted just new windows and doors however, once the windows were being installed I asked about stucco work and painting the house. They did not skip a beat. They were great in providing competitive quotes and giving realistic expectations. The longest wait was for the windows. Also all of the updates happened during the last week of July and first 2 weeks of August. Can’t stop Mother Nature in Miami in peak raining season. I recommend them for it all. Windows, stucco and the painting was just amazing...
