Matthew Rosco Rosen says: „I have been a design-build, State Certified General Contractor in Florida for over 25 years. Last year I was hired to restore & build two very high end 1947 historic "resto-mod" homes in Delray. The siding scope of work on one of them was extensive, intricate & extremely detailed. My usual siding sub didn't even want the job it was so crazy. As a historic resto-mod, only wood siding & trim could be used on the historic, wood structure, portion of the home. The preferable Hardie siding products were only allowed to be used on the large new masonry, non-historic, addition & areas of the historic home where wood was not available to use, such as on all the gables of this home that received scalloped Hardie shingle style siding. All of these architectural siding & trim details had to be strictly construed & executed to the "T" based on the architectural intent & the owner's meticulous preferences & specifications. Most importantly, all exterior details, finishes & specifications were subject to the rigorous approval & oversight of the city's Historic Preservation Board. As if all of the above parameters weren't enough, I designed the 2 different styled (wood with wood trim & masonry with Hardie trim) window openings to finish with the same exterior setbacks so that the window trim & exterior sills would all be consistent dimensionally around the entire home; not to mention the front porch details were completely over the top & multifaceted. This was by no means an easy project to discuss let alone execute, but for Palm Beach Siding it was. After my first site meeting with Peter of Palm Beach Siding, I knew I had undeniably found the right company for this ridiculous project. Communication is key in construction & life. Peter, Patrick, Radek & the entire crew of Palm Beach siding are all excellent communicators that know their trade. They have the requisite experience & incredible carpentry skills that allowed for the preparation, mobilization & execution of this project to all go flawlessly & super fast. Nothing about this siding scope should have been easy or fast, unless of course you're working with Palm Beach Siding. These guys are true craftsmen & they totally get IT, all of it. They asked all the right questions throughout every step of the process so that everything was done right & finished right, one time, on time, the first time. They have integrity & a tremendous work ethic; they show up & get it done, no matter what it takes. They're so good that the actual finished porch details & column wraps look better than the architectural artist rendering! Not to mention the owner changed the details of the porch railing on the very morning they were to begin building it. These guys didn't miss a beat though. After I explained what needed to be changed & a quick run for the appropriate materials, they still got the railing done as scheduled, as promised & most importantly, exactly as per plan. So yes, Palm Beach Siding can even hit curve balls out of the park! I hope I have more projects that require siding work, just so I can hire Palm Beach siding & work with them again! They are hands down the best in the biz! They are all genuinely nice, humble people who take great pride in providing quality work with only the best possible experience, customer service & outcome.
