WARNING. I hired this company to come out and do an annual service on the 3 AC units to make sure they were cleaned and in good working order for the summer.

The tech that came out stated that I may need to replace the capacitor on 2 of the 3 A/C units.

All 3 were functioning properly with no issue so I declined.

1 hour after the tech left one of the units started making a terrible noise.

I called the office and they sent another tech out to determine what the problem was the following day after my call.

The 2nd tech said it was just a coincidence that the unit failed and I would need to replace the unit.

I told him that was unacceptable and I wanted to know exactly what failed he told me he would have to speak to the owner and would call me right back and then left without fixing the unit that had stopped working right after first tech cleaned and service the unit.

I waited 2 additional days and Velocity decided to send another tech out.

This time I stood right next to the 3rd tech while he took the AC unit housing off to expose the capacitor and electrical wiring.

I immediately seen that there were 2 wires that had been cut just above the disconnect fasteners. See photo.

I asked the tech and he agreed that the wires were cut and sad he needed to call the office.

He then repaired the cut wires and the unit went back to normal operation.

The tech then called the office again and decided installed a new capacitor.

I asked why he installed the new part when the unit was working after he repaired the cut wires and he said he was following orders from the office.

The tech stated that there would be no charge for the new part.

I again called the office and spoke to Justin who is one of the owners and he had no explanation for the cut wires.

THE REPLY FROM VELOCITY AIR CONDITIONING IS not accurate.

Tyler another owner reached out to me about my review.
I explained to Tyler my concerns with his company and my personal experience. After much discussion Tyler sent me a text message stating clearly that he had a QUOTE employee who was a PROBLEM CHILD when we discussed the reason for the cut wires?
I find that troubling comment from the owner but after my experience I am glad that after wires were repaired l have my AC working again....

Excellent customer service from start to finish. I called around 5 pm on a Friday and within 36 hours, a new ac/heat unit was financed and installed. I am very great for the guidance and support through the whole process. Shout out to the entire team for awesome job....

Velocity has been my HVAC maintenance company for quite a while since replacing my original system a few years ago. They are always prompt, friendly and professional. We just had an issue late on Sunday before Labor Day and they came out to resolve the issue. Joey was awesome and a great technician. He was thorough and explained the issue clearly, providing me with my options. Obviously I didn’t want to shop around for the best price. I just wanted my AC to work. I’m glad that they were available to do the work during the off hours on a day before a holiday. It was a relief to know that I didn’t have to spend any longer without AC than necessary....

First day with new system. Looked like a clean and pro install. Had some existing ducting issues, that they took care of. They were on time, efficient, polite and kept us informed as progress or decisions came up. Thank you Velocity Air!...
