Rising Star Roofing (South Windsor)

My shingle roof was damaged after a tree fell on it during Hurricane Ian. Marcus from Rising Star Roofing knew all of the relevant FL building codes and told my claims adjuster that the damaged area is larger than the state allows for repairs and I would need a full replacement. He also said doing a repair that size would make the roof look awful due to color fading and age of the existing shingles and if I had warranties left, it would void them. My carrier paid for a full roof replacement. I used the opportunity to upgrade to tile and I am so glad I did because the house looks FABULOUS now!! RSR did a fantastic job. The crew, Tony and Juan, were very nice and respectful. Office staff was polite and helpful. I had some chimney repair work that needed to be completed: - Grind out cracked mortar joints and repoint - Apply crown seal to entire chimney crown - Install Stainless Steel rain cap over the top of the furnace flue I met Mike for an inspection of the chimney and he promptly provided me a written estimate via email which was detailed to my satisfaction and was what I considered a fair price. The work team arrived when expected, and completed the work promptly and as expected. I was very happy with the work completed and all of the staff involved. We had our roof done by rising star this week. Our roof was very old (had no idea when it was last done) we had to use much more wood then first thought. The team not only still was able to get it done in 2 days but they helped with financing. I personally appreciated the honesty. We had a flat roof on our home that had the roof done in the last few years, instead of just ripping it up they called and said they will take the difference and send us a check if we didn’t want to do it. This gave me and my wife comfort that we picked the right company...
