Buyer beware, If I could give negative stars I would. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this company at all costs.
I'm well aware the company likes to keep tabs on the google reviews so lets not call this a fake review, just an account of my experience to warn others. I advised in emails I'd be going to reviews and here we are since this company is not accredited by BBB and I can't lodge a formal complaint there.
This company was subcontracted by Premier Roofing who did work to replace the roof of my former house almost a year ago. (See my review of Premier Roofing) The roofing company led me to believe they would be the ones paying this company per their contracts. I did not choose this company for the work they performed, nor did I sign any contracts for work they did, and did not incur this debt myself, the roofing company did.
In email exchanges last week, this rather hostile individual, that is the owner I assume was very confrontational and threatening. I, the indirect customer, had to calm this person down to speak in a civilized tone. Their invoices weren't matching and dates of work were inconsistent.
I explained that all invoices they sent to me were bill to the roofing company, not myself. I forwarded the invoices to the roofing company who advised me "it looks like premier owes detach/reset some money on this one." So I assumed last week that that was the end of the matter. I was left with the impression that the roofing company and this company would be speaking and received no further correspondence from either. The very last email I got from this company last week said "Sounds good (sales rep's name) just let me know what the amount is and I’ll send the invoice to premier"
Today I get a call and text message from the owner on my unlisted personal cell phone, that I now have to change the number on due to the invasion of my personal privacy. He advised me he'd placed a lien on the house. I don't own the house anymore, I sold it and moved out of state months ago and the owner was very aware of this fact. This lien was filed on unsuspecting new homeowners who I'm sure were completely blindsided and wanted to have it removed.
I've since paid the invoice that the roofing company refuses to because the owner of this company does not communicate at all and proceeded with legal actions after leaving the impression they would be working with the roofers. This company is in no way honorable to the written agreements they make, the owner is extremely hostile and unprofessional, and I've got the receipts for it all.
Updated with some screen shots of his very recent behavior. Am I mad? Of course I am, this is shady business 101. He sends incorrect invoices and after I stated not to contact me again, he immediately proceeds to after this review...
