After having a couple of companies come out, and high pressure sales me. From the moment, i spoke with the business office, i was impressed, and felt comfortable here. There was no pressure, just accommodation, and the desire to earn my business. I said I was not available until 7pm. No problem, I will have Jason..the owner contact you then. Not a sales person, the Owner!. I was asked if i wanted a phone call, or to meet in person. I opted for the call. Jason called, explained in detail, and easy to understand his equipment, warranties, rebates, and tax advantages. An all electric system, which will lower my PG&E bill each month as well, as leave a lesser footprint in the environment. I did my further due diligence, and the very next day, Jason came out, inspected my house, which at that time, discovered my water heater was leaking, so I added that, and retained Cozy Home Services. Unfortunately, they were swamped with installations, so I had to wait. He assured me it was a 1 day installation! I could not imagine how. When they arrived, they were early, very professional, all of the men were uniformed, in several company trucks. They were very courteous, very respectful of my property, and answered any questions I posed. These professionals went about their work, with precision movements! “Rolex” has nothing on them! I now understood, how they could install everything in 1 day! All of the equipment was installed in 1 day! Jose was the Site Manager, Dan was a Master Plumber, from the plumbing department, Steven and Roland assisted Jose, Justin and Gustovavo, were supporting technicians to the team. James (Jimmy) was from warehouse support, to ensure everything they required to do the job was on sight, and of course Jason, arrived to ensure i was comfortable with the process. When the job was completed, the system was thoroughly checked, explained to me, I would be remise not to include the Amazing Office staff, and their Accounts Receivable Department. Ms. Carla, Ms. Jaime, and Ms. Gloria, who manages the Office Operations. When the team left my home, the only “footprint” they were there, was my new system, water heater, and my complete satisfaction! Im 75yrs. young, and have not experienced this type of Customer Service in years! Please don’t take my word for it…call and you also, will have an Amazing experience...“ Show more

It restored my faith that there are still companies that have integrity and believe in goodwill with their customers. Couldn’t be more surprised and happy. Updated to 5 Stars. Thank you! I called Alamo Heating & Cooling after reading a few reviews on our local Esparto Facebook Neighborhood page. People had good things to say about Sergio and Alamo. I was encouraged that there was a local area vendor/professionals that were good and reliable. I will start the review with after I called Alamo scheduled the call in 24 hours. I asked what the price was for the service call. I was told $80. I agreed. The day prior I had opened the access panel to the unit and observed the overflowing drip tray, I vacuumed the water but it continued to collect and overflow. Sergio arrived next day listened to my description of the issue that the inside blower/evaporative coils drip tray was overflowing and water was leaking in the utility closet at the bottom of the AC/Heating unit. Sergio opened the panel and saw the water. I explained to him that I hadn’t seen hardly any water outside at the pvc drip line and that I was thinking of snaking the drip line to see if a clog might be the problem.. Sergio grabbed his vacuum put it on the pvc pipe and the water rushed out of the drip line. Within a couple minutes the issue was solved. Now here is where I have the issue with Alamo Heating & Cooling… Sergio grabbed his phone and generated an invoice for $250. I said I was quoted $80. Sergio said that was for showing up. Usually a period of time would be applied toward the service call fee. I first of all wasn’t offered an explanation of planned service to vacuum the line and was not offered the cost of service to clear the line and if I agreed and accepted the terms. Personally I would have declined. This is the major issue I have with Alamo Cooling & Heating. They were not forthright nor transparent with the service billing cost to vacuum the line (all of about 1 or 2 minutes.) It took Sergio longer to get the vacuum and generate the invoice than it did to clear the line. I had also inquired about one duct that had stop producing air to the vent. Sergio at least told me that the duct probably just fell off the register vent and I could go below under the crawl space and re-tape the duct. He quoted me $350. If he did that. I declined but at least I was offered the option at that point. We really make an effort and like to support and utilize our local shops, vendors and resources as we are a small community My advice based on my experience with Alamo Heating & Cooling is to ask up front exactly what the service solution and fee structure for each phase of work will be. For Alamo Heating & Cooling as a customer I would suggest informing potential clients exactly what their service pricing structure is. Be clear transparent and forthright. Not that happy! I had been an excellent customer for more than two decades with another reputed company. My semi-annual spring maintenance had just been completed. All was thought well. After a succession of calls that something was seriously wrong with my AC unit a few weeks later, I arrived home one late, hot afternoon to my animals (one a senior in hospice) suffering in a 96º house. The thermostat had been set for 82º when I left to go to Costco. Over the next 24 hours, I was told that someone at my current HVAC company "might" be calling me that day, yet they could not be sure. I was on "standby," even for just a phone call. The direness of my situation didn't matter. Thankfully, a neighbor had a new unit installed by Comfort Check Heating & Air the previous year, and a friend of hers the year before. Both were extremely satisfied customers. So, I called Comfort Check. Laura thoughtfully received my call and concerns, and arranged for a repair check that afternoon. I was under no obligation to purchase a new unit. This was my first awareness that another AC company could do a diagnostic for me. The compressor had died. Comfort Check was able to do a temporary fix that provided AC for a few days. I was not charged, because after several compassionate, caring, skillful conversations, I purchased a new unit from Comfort Check. Gustavo even suggested that Laura clear that Friday in order to install my new unit. There are certain unforgettable interactions in life, in the positive always to do with people living from their hearts. Comfort Check is a special company, whose PEOPLE will absolutely bend over backwards to take care of its customers, especially those who care about each of them, as I do. I am grateful for the years with my previous company that were good and memorable.This summer, they expanded beyond my home's needs. Thank you, Comfort Check Heating & Air.
