It’s two days before my roofing project starts. In advance, Nathan, the customer service manager, made a small mistake and owned up to it as a learning experience in a genuine way. I too have made mistakes, so it was really appreciated that he communicated clearly and made it right for me—his customer. Backed up by the company owner, Raul, who reviewed our contract and job specifications and helped Nathan learn, I would highly recommend Bay Valley for their quality control. I plan to complete my review comments when the project is complete. For now it is a full FIVE STARS. Thorough advance planning makes me confident that I have chosen well to engage Bay Valley Solar Roofing for my project.
Now the job is done. It was a SUPERB experience.

Unlike most of the roofing companies out there, Bay Valley knows how to do roofs right. So many roofing companies cut corners and depend on the ignorance of their customers to not know any better. I can walk down the street where I live and point to identical houses with roofs where the roofers did not do them correctly. Many of those roofing companies are family owned and involve multiple generations and justify the poor work they do with, “We’ve been doing roofs for 30 years…blah blah blah.”    On the other hand, Bay Valley’s Carlos Ortega fully explained and showed us all of the parts of a roof explaining why they are necessary for a good roof system. I was aware of all of this prior to engaging Bay Valley and they got it all right. Sean Park was on site several times a day and in touch all day long and after hours to make sure every aspect of our job was covered and that we were 100% satisfied.  I'm a stickler for details and the knowledgable crew doing the work answered my questions as the job went along alleviating any concerns I had.  Even unanticipated things that required creative thinking were addressed and solutions well executed. I'm not an easy person to please, but I could not be happier with the job Bay Valley did.  And the cleanup during and after the job was meticulous. Not a scrap or nail to be found anywhere.

We recently had a vent fail over the winter allowing water into an outdoor storage room.  I contacted Bay Valley, and they were super helpful.  They came out and replaced the vent, and we had no leaks this last Saturday with the big rain!  The workmanship we great, and everything was cleaned up when they finished.
The people I dealt with at Bay Valley were exceptional.  Very courteous and the communication and coordination were excellent.  I was always informed when workers would come by, and they were diligent and safety conscious.
I can't say enough on how great they are to work with...

This is a 5 plus star rating. Quality workmanship, great customer service, easy to work with and when they say they will take care of whatever the issue maybe they take care of it. Bay Valley completed our 3,000 sq ft roof and gutters in July and did an exceptional job. Bay Valley even handled working with the solar company for removal and installation of solar panels. Bay Valley also works directly with Travis Credit Union for loans under the Go Green Loans so we didn't have to take out a mortgage loan.  Bay Valley was the first one I contacted and talked with Carlos who provided me a lot of information to start my research to find the best roofing contractor. He told me to call him anytime during my research to ask questions even though he knew at that time I was going out for bids and they may not get the job. He wanted me to be armed with information so I wouldn't be taken advantage off. There were some that gave me a bunch of bull. But because of Carlos I was ready. Contacted 10 companies got down to 8 for bids. Got it down to 3. Bay Valley was in the middle as far a pricing but none of the others were even close to Bay Valley based everything listed above and more not listed...
