Sewer Brothers Plumbing & Rooter is such a company and deserves its five star rating! And for the women reading this, I was treated with respect and given a fair price. After dealing with a plumbing stoppage caused by roots for over a month, my regular plumber finally told me that he couldn’t find the main sewer line and I should find another plumbing company that has the proper equipment. This followed three floods in all three of my bathrooms on three different occasions within that month. I researched several highly rated plumbing companies and checked their standing with the California state license board. Sewer Brothers Plumbing & Rooter was the only one that had a C 36 plumbing license and a C 42 sanitation systems license, which is why I chose them. I called and was told that Carlos would be dispatched to my house within 40 minutes. He arrived sooner than that with the proper equipment. Within minutes, he had diagnosed my problems and showed me pictures of my entire sewer system and all the roots clogging up my sewer line. He also showed me the sections that did not need replacing, which was great. He gave me options of possible solutions without any pressure. His prices were fair and reasonable, and it was easy to decide since I was exhausted from the floods in my house during the past month. His crew arrived the same day and began digging. Carlos told me that the work would be completed within a day and a half, and they only needed to turn off my water for a few hours. This is exactly what happened. The sewer lines were replaced, a new cleanout was installed, and they even repaired a leak in my sprinkler systems. And then they replaced all of the dirt that they had carefully piled all over my lawn, and then put the grass back. They were hard-working, detail, oriented, and well trained. They were very respectful of my property. I was impressed that they even put yellow “caution” tape surrounding each hole they dug, even though my property has a fence around it. It was very evident that the crew got along very well and were happy working for this company. Carlos was present a good deal of the time, working alongside his crew. At the end of the job, he showed me pictures of the finished sewer line, all new and minus the roots. Found my new plumbing company! For us it was someone who – first and foremost – did fantastic work and treated the job as if they were working on their own home. And we got that from Ford’s. When we moved into our house, we knew there was a mishmash of piping underneath. Galvanized mixed with copper supply lines, and ABS mixed with cast iron and clay sewer lines. Finally after several backups in our drain (that cost $250 each to clear), as well as massively reduced water pressure (and our fixtures getting clogged and ruined) due to the galvanized corrosion, we knew we had to basically re-plumb our whole house. It was a major job. While some people that came out to give an estimate didn’t even crawl under the home, Luis (who came out for the original bid) climbed under and took photos and measurements. Then Robert the owner came back and worked with us for over an hour to create a comprehensive plan that not only fixed our current issues but planned ahead for future upgrades that we want to do to our house, which include moving the kitchen to the rear of the house, and adding a bathroom. We also added a whole-house water treatment system, added a pressure regulator at the street, and epoxy-lined the sewer drain all the way out to the street connection. Robert and his team were nice people, great communicators, easy to work with, honest, and fair. Upon completion of the water supply line replacement, they also went through every fixture in the house to make sure they all were working properly, and they didn’t leave until everything was right. They even stayed late on the 6th day of work (a weekend) to finish the job so we could take shower that night. It was much appreciated. Their time estimate was also accurate. They said 8 days and it took 8 days. It was great to be able to trust the people working on our house to do it the right way and it was reassuring to have the same people that came out to give the estimates be the same ones doing the work (too many places have a great salesman come out to give the bid, and then send some random person back to do the work). We still have to replace our hot water heater and add some piping when we remodel our kitchen — and we’ll definitely be giving Robert and Ford’s plumbing a call for that job...“ Show more

He provided expertise, hard work, clean finish, and some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. We were happy to give him a well-earned $100 tip. We were having some issues with the draining from our kitchen. Our dishwasher, sink, and washer dryer all run from that section. We initially thought it was typical build up, and simply required a line run to clear the path. Hard hat was very responsive, and quickly sent out Mr. Francisco. They quoted us $120 for the line clearing. Upon arrival, Mr. Francisco was thorough. He inspected all the water sources (clothes washer, sink, dishwasher, etc.). He was able to confirm there was a low flow out of the area. He then checked the access pipes. He then went under the home, and into the crawl space below. He was quick to point out the grade of the water output from that section of the house was off. He said the issues was a result of with the pipe grading. The improper grade was causing water to pool, calcify, and build up sediment; all resulting in poor drainage, and dirt build up and odor. We had been dealing with subtle indicators of a larger issue, but never out it all together until he helped us. Mr. Francisco was able to set up an appointment to redo the piping grade the next business day. They quoted $1,600; which was expensive, but on par with all other quotes. And $1,600 is what we paid including all taxes, parts, and labor. Mr. Francisco arrived right on time for the job, and worked diligently and smoothly until the job was finished. He utilized a leveler and a shovel to ensure we had a great exit grade for the new piping. He showed the poor original grade, and then later showed me through the new install and improved path he designed to ensure a proper slope. He then checked all other plumbing points; including the main line. He showed me each via the snake camera. He was great! It gave us so much confidence and comfort to see everything and understand the underlying issue was resolved. He also educated and showed us what items might require replacement long term (10-15 years from now). Mr. Francisco then cleaned up under the house, and in the side run access point. Taking all the old pipe and debris away. The final new pipe line was clean, and well done. And had a great slope down to avoid this issue happening again! Rather than take $120 and give us a temporary fix, Mr. Francisco and the Hard Hat team treated us like family. They did not charge us the $120; and provided a real, permanent solution.
